I had a great 3 night stay here! The front desk staff is extremely sweet and helpful. It was the perfect location, and very quiet even though it is right in the center of town! The only negative about the room is the heat doesn’t work that well. I am vegan and unfortunately the restaurant only offers vegetarian options, please consider adding a few vegan options especially for people with allergies! Overall I loved my stay here and I would definitely recommend it to others.

We had an amazing stay at Des Alpes Luzern, and we can't recommend it enough! The location is absolutely perfect, situated right in the heart of everything Luzern has to offer. It’s just a 5-10 minute walk to plenty of fantastic restaurants, great shopping, and the main train station—making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and exploring the city. The staff truly stood out during our stay. They were attentive, professional, and friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. It’s clear that the team takes pride in providing excellent service. We’ll definitely be coming back to Des Alpes Luzern in the future, and we won’t hesitate to recommend it to our families and friends. Positives- Des Alpes Lucerne is in a great location! You can walk to the train station, boats and buses. It is in the center of the food/shopping district and looks out over the iconic bridge. The restaurant is also very good! Negatives- really needs an update, mattresses and pillows uncomfortable. Room layout could be changed to have a bigger bathroom. Right now the shower is a very tight corner unit with handheld shower- not a fan. Furniture was sparse, uncomfortable and outdated. No AC or screens in the windows to keep mosquitoes out. Overall, we enjoyed the view and location, but for the $$ would like some comfort as well.

This property was in an excellent location! Very walkable and great views. The staff was also very kind. A couple of things that hold this property back is the super small and old elevator that seems like it could give out any minute. Another thing is the stale cigarette smoke that lingered throughout the hotel even with the doors shut and being in an non smoking room. And lastly, instead of breakfast being included they give you a voucher of £18.50 / person to go to their restaurant. It wasn't a bad breakfast but definitely not worth the price they have. Also to note- the bathroom is SO small. It feels like the bathroom is an old closet and they just shoved everything in and called it a day.

Loved the view from our balcony. The shopping and restaurants were great. The staff were so kind and helpful. The bed provided for a great sleep as well. The Christmas Markets were also fun and really get you into the spirit.

New look and design in the rooms.
I’ve stayed here many times and you can’t beat the location for visiting Luzern. The hotel as completed renovations on about half of the building and is underway with the rest. Never heard any of the workers or work being done. The new rooms are awesome. The design and cosmetic works are well done. You will enjoy this hotel. Its pricing is great and only an 8 minute walk to the train station.

Delightful view
The hotel is in a delightful location, we had a balcony room overlooking the old bridge. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was lovely. Access to the hotel with a car is not easy and parking at the train station is expensive.
