"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. A few things to note, though: - the hotel is a good 15m walk from the walls of Lucca, so you need to plan your days as it’s not easy to pop back during the day, especially in the heat of August. Bike hire is extra - 35 euro a day. - the pool is lovely - comfortable and a lovely space to relax. However, it’s only open from 10am - 7pm which was a shame as it’s not possible...

"We had a large group of friends and family, ranging in age from 5 to 75. The house was beautiful and comfortable for all. The big yard was great for the kids, we ate many meals around the large tables, both inside and out. But what made the visit the most welcoming was the owner, Ms. Alida. She was kind and helpful and answered emails almost immediately. We had lovely conversations (we each only barely spoke each other's language and yet we talked a lot!) and she offered all kinds of help. Villa...

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and a decent size. Location was great for walking into the city and there was a nearby grocery store (Lidl). We had to leave early unexpectedly so we didn't get to try the breakfast but I'm sure it would have been wonderful. Overall a great place to stay and we wouldn't definitely return if/when we come back to Lucca!"
