"Quaint. Feels like you are staying in the real Florence. Desk manned for only a portion of the day. If you are arriving late, ensure you contact hotel for entry codes and room key. There is a code to building, code to floor of hotel and then key to room. Walkable from train station and walkable to attractions."

"Excellent air conditioning, which was appreciated! Sometimes, upon re-entering the apartment, we noticed a musty sewage type odor, which dissipated when we opened the windows and aired it out. Might this be typical of old buildings? Otherwise, a great place to stay. "

"The staff was helpful with arranging luggage storage and taxi. The property is definitely older and hence there was a little bit of a smell in the washroom. But overall, pretty good. The room was clean and extremely close to all attractions. Just remember there are no elevator you will need to take the luggage up the stairs. "

"Great customer service and instructions upon our check in. Very secure building, felt safe. Large room with spa bath in bathroom. Shower/bath leaked unfortunately. Great location, on less busy side of Florence bridges. Only suggestions would be access to English channels on tv and iron with ironing board."

"A lovely staff that were all accommodating and very helpful with any questions and needs. Convenient location right in the city. Accessible to any of the museums and a nice walk across the river to other attractions. Next to a pharmacy for any medical needs. Really comfortable for what I was looking for, I would stay again traveling solo! "

"The staff was phenomenal and extremely accommodating. If they could do it then they would. We’re booked the hotel last second and had no issues whatsoever even with a late check in. They held our bags for us after we checked out so we could be bag free until our flight So close to everything and a very convenient spot!"

"Great spot to base a small to medium tour of Firenze this was our second destination in Italy after Rome and we stayed in this b&b for 4 nights, it was quiet, comfortable, and most importantly for us, it was within walkable distance from all major attractions in florence. Nico, our host, was very accommodating and had excellent manners and even helped us to find recommendations for restaurants and attractions. "The staff was fantastic, the apartament very clean and good balcony with table a two chairs, great location, full of restaurants if you walk a couple of blocks, very safe!"

"The property lacks an elevator, making it shore with luggage. The air conditioning condensation made us put towels under it to control the water. The shower plug up but staff took care of the issue right away. Love the ladies working counter, friendly and helpful. I also liked the space room provided. I would recommend for a visit to Florence, just don’t expect the Marriott. "
