"I honestly loved every moment I spent in this hotel. The staff were great and the room was fantastic. I also enjoyed eating at the Caper Grill restaurant, and the pool area was beautiful to look at in my opinion. Also I had a treatment in the Spalato spa which was great. Only small thing was that my room did not have a fridge - it looked as if the fridge had been removed from the cabinet. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. "

"We have stayed at Kastel 1700 before. Its location is amazing right on the Riva with good sea views. The staff are extremely helpful, kind and friendly and speak very good English. It is a comfortable hotel, with all modern facilities built into the walls of the old city around Diocletian's Palace. The breakfast is also very good. I would recommend Kastel 1700."

"Having access to the seaside without the ‘hustle and bustle’, was the best feature for me. Plenty of sun loungers available, serviced by F&B staff. Located away from the centre of town, but walkable distance. Staff were very helpful. Book massages before you arrive to ensure availability. Breakfasts were delicious. "
