"Apart from the property being some 12 miles (20km) away from the nearest town it was ideal for travelling to and from main places of interest. Everything that could be wished for in the property was available and our English speaking contact Bridget (Not the property owner) was very helpful. If you stay here, do not forget to feed the donkey. We also went away with a very good supply of sweet chestnuts, hazel nuts and walnuts."

"A really fantastic location. We stayed in a chalet overlooking the lake which was lovely. The chalet is really nice, spacious and had pretty much everything you need for a holiday. The swimming pool was lovely and clean with plenty of sun beds around. It was nice being car free, the children could cycle and scoot round safely, but bear that in mind for packing/unpacking, it can be quite a walk depending which area your chalet it. The restaurant on site is very limited with space and opening...

"We have stayed in many french gites over the years, but this farmhouse in the grounds of a beautiful chateau is exceptional. The location, close to Malestroit and Ploermel was excellent for shopping and visiting the markets and many larger towns were less than 30 minutes away. Helene was a great host, who was friendly, informative and helpful. She personally ensured the swimming pool was kept scrupulously clean and open from 8am to 8pm everyday - much appreciated on some very hot days. Highly...

"Environnement plutôt calme et accueillant. Nous avons passé un bon week-end en famille. Logement fonctionnel qui apporte de la simplicité au séjour. Seul petit bémol serait la propriété du logement et les moyens pour nettoyer. L'aspirateur n'aspire pas et faire le ménage au balai n'est pas adapté."

"We spent a leisurely 12 days in this comfortable home. Patricia and her family made us feel immediately welcome. The bedrooms have views of the chateau. Inside, the house is very quiet; stepping out front we were always greeted by melodic bird songs. It is a two minute walk to the Brest-Nantes canal with lovely walking paths on both sides, and a 5-10 minute walk to the center restaurants and boulangeries. We could not have been happier with our stay."

"Un très bon moment passé au Gîte Liberté. Nous fêtions les 30 ans de notre fille en famille, c'était top. Bonne communication avec notre hôte, une maison suffisamment grande pour ne pas se marcher dessus, et tout le nécessaire pour ne pas s'ennuyer quand il pleut. "Séjour en famille pour le WE de Noel 2022 (11 adultes). Nous avons beaucoup aimé cette maison, très spacieuse, bien équipée, dans un superbe cadre (très joli jardin paysager, face a l'étang de Paimpont). De très belles pièces de vie dont un salon avec une cheminée où nous avons passé de bons moments en famille ! Nous garderons tous de très bons souvenirs de ce séjour. Nous recommandons vivement cette location !"
