The restaurants, bars, shops, Golf Course and beach of Maho are just a mile away as is the world famous CASINO ROYALE- the best casino on the island and the only one with craps. The other direction sits the French side and within sight and walking distance is the wonderful Porto Cupecoy, a vibrant plaza filled with quaint shops and fine restaurants and an array of world-class amenities. This Riviera inspired village is artfully crafted for pure pleasure and offers a marina with boat charters to nearby Anguilla and St Bart's - day or night!! See the St. Louis Fort in Marigot and then visit tons of beach bars and restaurants at ORIENT BAY where the Orient nude beach exists. Also add to our list the must , must do LOTERIE FARM- an awesome place because it is NOT a FARM but more like a unique BEACH STYLE club with a cascading swimming pool and private treehouses and huts for lounging and relaxing. You can also take a ferry from the French city of Marigot to Anguilla for a day or longer- BRING YOUR PASSPORT!

On the Dutch side Philipsburg is known as the capital where the cruise ships dock and luxury shopping exists especially for jewelry. If your crazy enough, the World’s steepest zip line is here at the port for a thrill of a lifetime- a pure adrenaline rush at 56 miles per hour in a single drop where you travel more than one thousand feet in elevation along 2,800 feet of cable. Also there is the is quite a show and a crazy place to be at the airport - when St. Maarten goes wild when the massive jet comes flying in over their heads on the beach.
