"Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. "

"The cabins were lovely, they provide everything you need to make your own meals which is a big plus. The area is nice and central but feels isolated. It’s 10 mins away from shopping centres and only a short drive to the blue mountains. Highly recommend."

"We loved this rustic, hidden gem!! A super spot for a family getaway with lots of nature time, fresh air and peace. Fiona and Mike were super hosts, extremely helpful, kind and responsive! "The property is on very tranquil and restful bushlands. Great place to unwind and unplug. There is also a creek with opportunities to go canoeing courtesy of the hosts. It does require a 4WD to get down there or reasonably fit bodies as it's a steep walk down and steeper back or feels like it !! Pack your bags, your favourite book, snacks, drinks and kick back ! "

I opened the 'guest guide' and bits of cheese fell out. We expected to be able to use the wood burning stove as it was very cold and were told it wasn't available for use. "It's a beautiful country getaway of green grasses, farm field, small towns and running horses, where breathing in the air and walking on the ground brings balance to the soul, limbs and mind. And the owner is so kind. (I don't know what the limit is but there's room for 11.) "This cottage is very beautiful, homely, peaceful and serene especially for a family with 2 young kids like us. Surrounding nature is awesome and suitable for kids to run around. Deb and Peter are really awesome hosts who will go all the way out to make your stay as homely as possible. Appreciate them reaching out to my wife to see of any help required especially when I have to leave for the US in between for a week of work. "Everything was just as we expected and met our expectations. Thwre were lots of things keft by the owner for our enjoyment. The only thing we stuggled with was working out the TV and the remotes. If you're going in winter good idea to bring some extra fire wood"
