"I have never stayed in this type of property. I usually pick a known hotel brand because I know what to expect but I’m so happy I didn’t. We were greeted by the owners with a welcome drink, snacks, and kindness. We sat and talked while they checked us in and then showed us to our room and talked about their amenities. Situated near the top of a mountain with a challenging drive up Draga di Lovrana certainly provides stunning views and a visual feast, but it a little lacking in substance.
