"This property let us book a room at 7pm and although clearly on their site it states check in is available until midnight, at 9:20 we arrived to a dark abandoned house. We tried reaching the manager via what’s app and after an hour he finally answered and told us to “find another place to stay, he’s closed”. The property is non refundable so I’ve been fighting with Expedia for a refund which to this point they’ve refused to issue. Absolute disaster. I’ll be claiming a fraudulent transaction...

"Cute apartment with a beautiful view off the balcony. Walking distance from Makarska Beach with lots of restaurant options. Was difficult to find apartment originally as it is not very well marked and the gps took us to a slightly different location. But luckily locals are friendly! Overall very cute accommodation! "

"We recently spent a week in Marijo's apartment and from the second we stepped in the door we were blown away! The view is spectacular to say the least, the accommodation itself was fabulous and just as good, if not better than the photos depict, but it was the fresh fruit, the big bowl of lollies, the coffee capsules, the wine chilling in the fridge, a stocked pantry, a full wine rack all that Marijo said we were welcome to use. "We had a fantastic stay in Makarska! The owner was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. The apartment itself is absolutely charming, with beautiful exposed stone walls and elegant marble floors. The location is perfect for a young couple, situated right in the heart of the action. "The hosts, Anna and Boris, were first class and very welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed including mountain bikes. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The location was perfect to visit loads of places along the coast and we even found a variety of walks down to the sea front from the apartment - and the walk back up was always fuelled by a beer or two.... All in all a great place to stay. Happy to recommend."
