"Quiet situation. The house is on quite a narrow impasse and the gate is not enormous. Anyone with a car larger than ours (Skoda Yeti 1m 75 cm wide) could find it a bit tight getting in and out. There are some parking spaces round the corner. All contact was with the concierge, timely and professional. The sea-facing terrace also faces north and can be bracing, but the one overlooking the garden is quite a sun-trap, and sheltered. There is adequate shopping in Asnelles with a small Carrefour...

"We were delighted by the quiet street about 50 yards from an entrance to Utah Beach. The Museum is wothin walking distance both on the street and via the Beach itself. Enjoyed the backyard deck in the evening. A truly wonderful experience throughout our 5 day stay."

"The house was unbelievably clean. It was decorated very tastefully. It was not cluttered with the owner's belongings. The location was perfect; the beach was right across the street. "Good base for the D-Day beaches, etc. Room clean and tidy, with a decent bathroom and shower. Breakfast, it was good. Pool is not huge, but did the trick, as we only stayed for one night. I'd probably go to Capfun next door if staying longer, as it looked good too and had more facilities.for the kids."

"Lovely large house near all the D Day landing beaches. The hosts were very welcoming and explained everything about the house. The house had more outside space than we could use and plenty of table and chairs. We had an absolutely wonderful week."
