"This guest house is very simple. It has a beautiful stair case and no elevator. It's central location in the city is excellent, but obviously there can be noisy people in the streets and city noise. There are several coffee and breakfast places within a 5 minute walk. The beds were more comfortable than usual. The shower had hot water. For the price I paid, I was satisfied."

"This is a lovely boutique hotel, minutes walk uphill from soa bento rain station. It is hidden in plain sight, and even the police a block away could not find it. Marianne, the owner , is wonderful, and helpful. Breakfast was cooked to order, and the bed was fabulous. We were walking distance from everything. It is very quiet at night, even though near a busy street. "

"We booked this hotel because it was close to a metro station (Trinidad, 5 minutes walk) that went directly to the airport but it turned out to be a little oasis just outside the tourist centre of Porto. There is a lovely garden and conservatory. A kitchen with an honesty bar, snacks and proper recycling bins. The view from the front bedrooms isn't so good but the rear ones overlook the garden.
