The location of the property is excellent but that’s the only good point. When you pay around £700 for a week in Vilamoura you expect far more quality but the owners have barely supplied the basics and the description although accurate is no where near the standard expected.
There is NO WiFi, the shower is old and poor and the hot water regularly cut out. The air con is a unit in the lounge and very loud and the bedroom is so hot even in September! The bed is poor - very small and a terrible mattress with just 2 pillows that are so cheap and with no black out curtains the sunlight blasts in from 6 in the am. The kitchen is a nice size, but poorly equipped with just one dishwasher tab, no toaster and no coffee maker of any sort. We stayed over a week and as only 2 towels supplied we had to request additional. Also there were just 2 rolls of toilet paper when it was advertised for up-to 4 people.
So to summarise the property description isn’t inaccurate but the quality of what the owners provide for the cost and location is simply not good enough and I would not recommend anyone staying here as there are better properties and options at better prices available .
We had a great holiday but the property was simply not good enough and we will research better when we use Expedia or alternatives in the future
