Experience a warm welcome just minutes from downtown! Our cozy retreat is ideally situated near the renowned Distilleries on the Bourbon Tour and local Breweries. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway for two or a relaxing escape with family and friends, our property has it all.

In the garage, you'll find a Level 2 Charger and two bicycles for exploring the famous Highlands area. The unit is connected to a shared courtyard where you can unwind or have a delightful barbecue by the fire. Should you require anything during your stay, we're here to assist. Our property is a mixed-use space. At the front on Barret Avenue, there's a Mortgage Company. Behind that, you'll find a Duplex with a family on the first floor and an individual on the second. In the small courtyard, there's a Firepit with six chairs and a Weber Grill. Towards the back, where the entrance is from the Brick Alley, you'll discover the Bungalow. Here's what you can expect when you park in the spacious two-car garage:

Street parking is readily available on one of the adjacent side streets or directly to the left in the grassy area when facing the garage. (We are working on adding gravel.) For added security, there is a Nest camera for anyone parking there.

The stay was great. Our only issue was were were unable to use the garage as I had hoped. We drive a large F-350 truck that is too tall to fit in the garage. I may have missed a note saying the garage is only for low profile vehicles. I do appreciate how the house manager reached out where we could find more soap when it ran out. The wash machine was very useful.

Bourbon Trail Visit
This was a nice place. Everything was there that you could need. Great for a couple or small family. Close to downtown and the distilleries. There are some fun bars just down the block. Do t miss the Kabob shop on Baxter. We would stay again.

Fantastic oasis in the heart of Louisville
Beautiful property with every amenity you’ll need. Great location in a safe, fun neighborhood. Would return any time I was in the area. I personally thought the garage was kinda of greenish rather than yellow, but i loved being able to store the car in the garage.

Great place to stay. Very clean. Close to restaurants and shops. Not too far of a drive to the distilleries- you could actually walk if you wanted to! Bed was very comfy and while we didn’t cook the kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely return if we are ever in the area again!

Loving Louisville
We went to Louisville Ky to celebrate our anniversary and to enjoy visiting some distilleries. Chris’ place was exactly as described in the listing. It was clean and convenient to access the area to visit the sights of Louisville and the surrounding area. There are several eateries within walking distance from the apartment. We enjoyed the fact that there were board games and a bourbon barrel checkers game. The use of the garage was a big plus. We would recommend Chris’ place to friends and family looking for a place to stay in Louisville.

Don't Judge a Book by It's Cover
It was kind of hard to find using the directions on maps. It is actually an alleyway entrance instead of on the street listed. The directions on the email that I received stated that it was the only yellow garage door on the street. The garage door is faded and appears beige, not yellow as I was searching for. Also there were multiple trash cans blocking the entrance at the garage. The outside of the property made us concerned for where we were staying and what we were staying in, but once we entered the rental, it was very clean and well appointed and we felt at ease. I would stay here again.

Our Stay at the Bourbon Bungalow was 100% perfect for my Family's visit to Louisville Kentucky. Clean, Cozy and Complete with all Amenities. Location was so Convenient also to Louisville Expo center- 10 min drive. Owner was so helpful and responded immediately. Fun location in Highlands
The bungalow was a great base for a getaway to Louisville. Only a few minutes drive from downtown, and lots of great restaurants, bars, and other uniques shops within walking distance. The bakery around the corner is a must visit.
