This place was an active construction site. We woke up Friday morning, our first morning there after arriving late Thursday night, at 7:30 am to roofers blocking the only entrance to the unit with a ladder, a tarp laid out on the deck, and roofing the whole place. I attempted to reach out to the manager of the booking and she was rude and unhelpful. Later only claimed that they were fixing a leak. This was not true. They were on the roof above us and the roof out our window (it’s a second story unit). We had roofers outside our bedroom window (which had see through curtains). We also had an infant with us, and it was not possible for her to nap with the construction noise taking place. We were forced to leave and find a hotel. This was a horrible experience with a host that lied and refused to apologize or issue a refund. I would love to include pictures if possible.

Awesome stay in great area!
This is a second story apartment in a very cool area of Louisville. We spent time walking to the various art stores and had amazing food. It feels like an historic area and very safe. More importantly it has the character and charm of an older building. The beds were all memory foam and very comfortable. The hand painted mural on the wall and exposed brick are cool extras! It is the perfect blend of old building- high ceilings, original floors - and cool modern touches. The host was everything you’d want. Helpful, communicative but not too involved. We would stay again on our next visit without hesitation!!
