Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "

"Sent 3 messages to the host days before we where due to arrive re how to access the property, got no replies, had to phone booking agent VRBO on arrival as we couldn’t get inside & as there was no 4g signal we had to drive off again & find a signal, it seems tie host “forgot” to send details. overall we found the property adequate for 2 nights stay but wouldn’t have been happy to stay longer as beds although clean where extremely uncomfortable. Bathrooms def need attention. Upstairs living room...

"We had a lovely stay, the lodge is lovely and the standard of accommodation was very high. It was a lovely place to return to after a busy day exploring. The location of the lodge was more remote than expected but we soon got used to the rural location - the roads were narrow but luckily we had access to a good Sat Nav and always found our way about. We managed to see a lot of Northern Ireland and ventured down to Dublin for the day."
