Welcome to Woodhaven Retreat - a beautifully restored 1830s cabin that seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern amenities. Located in the heart of Mohican, this cozy retreat is the perfect place to relax and unwind with your family. Enjoy the tranquility of the countryside while still being close to all that Loudonville has to offer. Book now for a peaceful getaway!

The property is a picturesque retreat nestled in a serene valley surrounded by wooded hills on both sides. Its idyllic location is further enhanced by a small creek running through the open grass yard in front of the cabin and a wood-covered hill to the rear.

Relaxation is the order of the day with several rocking chairs on the front deck offering the perfect vantage point to soak up the tranquil setting. Alternatively, the back patio boasts a hot tub, gas grill, and Adirondack chairs where you can unwind and enjoy the fresh air.

A fire ring in the front yard provides a cozy ambiance, but you'll need to bring your lawn chairs and firewood to enjoy it fully.

As you enter through the front door, you'll be greeted by a spacious kitchen and dining area fully equipped to cater for your culinary needs. The island with a raised bar is a great spot to sit and eat, while the large dining table comfortably seats eight people with extra chairs and benches available for larger groups.

The common area boasts two couches and three chairs where you can relax and socialize with your companions. For your entertainment, a 75" Smart Roku TV has been provided. This part of the house is the original 1830s cabin, which adds to the ambiance with its exposed logs and timbers.

The game room has a table for playing any of the supplied games, and there are a couple of rocking chairs for quiet reading and relaxation.

The bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed to cater for different preferences. The master bedroom has a king bed and a half bath, while the second and third bedrooms also feature king beds. The loft area has two twin beds, a full bed, and a futon, but please be aware that access is via a steep ladder.

For your convenience, there is a laundry room with a washer and dryer that you are welcome to use.

Such a beautiful cabin! Our family stayed here for the weekend to celebrate Christmas. We had everything we needed and plan to return back in the future. Landoll’s castle is super close and we were able to enjoy the Christmas lights. Highly recommend.

This cabin was great! It was clean and was very well stocked! The location was great is was close to town and to the state park. The cabin had plenty of room. A huge kitchen and eating area. A comfortable living room and game room! This was definitely the best VRBO we have stayed in so far!

Great Weekend Retreat
We had an amazing weekend! The cabin is very very cool, clean, relaxing and the hosts were very responsive. Only thing to make sure you’re aware of is the well water, we just bought a lot of bottled water for drinking since we’re weren’t accustomed to it. Hot tub was awesome and clean and the service is fine. Would love to come back!

It was different but AMAZING experience!
When we arrived the place was breathtaking especially the location. Our stay was so quite and peaceful and that’s with 4 kids! Not only that Clint was amazing at answering right back if you had any questions or concerns!

We just spent 2 nights at the cabin house and it was exactly what we needed! The cabin was clean and modernized. Had plenty of everything we needed! We were close to hiking trails too! The host quickly responded to any questions we had! We would definitely stay agian!

We had an excellent stay and could not recommend this place enough! We had one issue with the cleanliness of the hot tub upon arrival and received an immediate response from the owner. He came out himself within 1-2 hours and thoroughly cleaned it and apologized profusely about the situation. Could not ask for better customer service and would definitely stay again. Great experience all around!

Cabin was beautiful. Had to wait in hot car an hour longer because housekeeping was not done at 2. Creek in picture was alot larger making you think you could float in it. It was very narrow and shallow.

PEARL'S GIRLS
The Log House is set in a picturesque setting with a rolling hill and nicely groomed grounds. The inside took our breath away. The decor was very traditional for a cabin but up to date. Rooms were good sized. The kitchen and dining area held all 13 of us comfortably and provided us with plenty of space for cooking, eating and playing games. The only draw back was how fast the time went and we had to leave. My family and myself had a marvelous, magical and magnificent experience and highly recommend this location.

We absolutely loved our cabin stay. The decor and all the amenities were exactly what was described in the listing. The kids enjoyed running around the property playing even in the cold and snow. The only thing I could say negative is the smell of the water, which I did not realize it was well water until we arrived so we had to go buy some gallons of water. But other than that we would definitely be back. If you have small children the sinks are tall so I would suggest bringing a step stool for them. The host was amazing and responded within a hour.

Little Piece of Heaven
Beautiful house located among the tall pine trees near Mohican State Park. The updated log cabin boosts of heated floors and all the amenities needed for a large family. Perfect location to explore nearby Millersburg, Berlin, Sugar Creek, and the state park. Ugly Bunny Winery is just a few minutes away. Treat yourself to shopping and brunch at Pine Tree Barn in Wooster, which is about a 30 min drive. Visit Landolls Castle which is just up the hill and the restaurant there, Cooper Mug, has outstanding food. We really enjoy the private setting of the house and sound for the stream in front of the property. We even saw a herd of deer by the neighbors pond. The hot tub was ideal for the chilly nights. We had 6 adults for a weekend birthday celebration and plenty of room to spread out. The beds were comfy and the house very clean. We would highly recommend.
