"Interesting property with many retained aspects of the old prison. Rooms ate obviously small, with little storage, no hair driers etc. slightly disconcerting obscured glass loo and shower 'box' in the room. Great breakfast, with good choice. "

"The only negative was that other guest’s dog lefy 2 piles of geces in the corridet. Someone tried to remove it but left 2 significant feces smears on the carpet. We immediately notified front desk receptionist. Then next morning we told the housekeeper who was aware. The smears remained for our entire visit until our last morning when we submitted complaints to reception director again, it was finally cleaned at the time of our departure. "Small hotel close to the train station and about an 8-10 minute walk to the old town. The “big room” was spacious with a nice sitting area. I saw the “medium room” and it was big enough for 2 people. You may hear trams go by but it’s not loud and frequent. The area around the hotel is great with several coffee shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again."

"This was an awesome hotel. 10' walk from train station and no stairs (however, there are cobblestones). The front desk staff were particularly awesome. I forget her name, but one of the ladies was so helpful when my husband needed some medical help. Very much appreciated! The only small negative is that the soap dispensers were VERY hard for me to squeeze (both shower & sink) to get soap dispensed - but I do have arthritis :( Other than that, don't hesitate to book these lovely, yet affordable...
