"This place was so clean, cozy, and in a great location. Check-in and check-out were super easy. We had everything we needed. They thought of everything: coffee bar, extra throw blankets, stacked wood ready to be used inside and for the outdoor firepit. The outdoor patio area was beautiful and private.The beds were very comfortable too!Thank you for a great place to get away!"

"We loved our stay at Bruce and Claudia’s little hideaway! It was a great place to stay with our dogs during a trip to the Placerville area. It’s close enough to downtown, but far enough away to experience the peace and quiet of the river! Everything was as described, you have your own space and privacy, but they are close by if you ever need anything. We will definitely come back and stay again!"

"This is a perfect place to stay when visiting the Auburn, Grass Valley, Nevada City area for a long weekend.Small but cosy. Quiet, out-of-the way place in a pastoral setting . . . Hillsides; Oaks; Pines; Pond; Geese; Ducks; Boats; Kayaks; Views. Not a stay all day kind of place but nice to come back to after an out-and-about day.Host was gracious with welcome signs and clear use guidelines; Quarters were well maintained with nice kitchen and dining area. Only drawback is one small bathroom...

"Myself, my husband’s our two young kids as well as my mother stayed for 4 days. This house is awesome super kid friendly. They was basically everything you could imagine. Beds are super comfortable. Beautiful garden and a bunch of producing fruit everywhere. "

"This was a little piece of heaven. We were in the area for a family members wedding. The house acted as a meeting spot for family to tuch basis and plan. It was nice and quiet, with beautifully lit pathways and ample outside areas to relax. The decorations in the home were done with care for detail. I highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing weekend getaway, or vacation rental. It won't disappoint. 👍😊"

"This place was private, quiet, roomy and on a lovely property. It was centrally located in the heart of Apple Hill. I was able to come and go with no issues and I loved that they had a full kitchen I could utilize. It was a little off the beaten path but still close enough I could easily access restaurants and local shopping. The owners were such a delight and very kind. I would 100% stay there again and plan to in the future! "
