I really have to say the staff were very kind, even understanding on our part as we spilled some catfood on floor as we were leaving.
But, i was really not happy with the fact that
1. Phone was in room not fuctional (safety issue)
2. When we wanted to shower there was no hot.
water (both in pm and am of stay) but the staff was able to turn it on
3. The room was quite filthy. Not dirty but walls had what looked like dried blood on bathroom door jam.
4. The toilet had cigarette burns on the toilet seat, and was not clean bc you could see the scum where the water sits in the bowl.
5. The bed was so hard and was not a queen, it was a double. But the comfort of the bed was terrible.
6. The tv was not functional so i plugged it in along with the direct tv and then i had to get staff come to the room turn the tv to finctional. There were no directions in room to tell me how the system functions.
7. We had smoking room but alarm trigge
I didn feel comfortable complaining to the staff bc they were so nice and charitable. These issues are not staff related, except the cleanliness, but who is inspecting the rooms? I just feel that this place needs some money put into it in order to be a place people can rest and relax after driving I-5 all day.
The price matched the accommodations and i was glad for that. It was fairly cheap, but pride in business should not allow people to offer up sub par accomodations just because its a poor or seedy part of town or they are super cheap.
