"My boyfriend and I wanted to take a little trip to get away from the stresses of everyday life for the weekend. When we arrived at Deer Haven, not only was the view and the house beautiful, but it smelled so clean when we walked in the door.. and it was! The house was equipped with everything we needed- we just had to bring our own food, drinks, and toiletries. We loved sitting out on the deck taking in the beautiful view while drinking our coffee in the morning or having a glass of wine in the evening. The hot tub was so warm and relaxing and we used the fireplace in the living room which created a warm and cozy atmosphere. Overall, Deer Haven was exactly what we needed to relax and refresh our souls for a few days. Everything was great and we had no reason to reach out to our hosts during our stay as everything was just as described. We were sad to leave but we will definitely be back! "Everything in here seems to have been considered. There's a bit of everything for anyone and just when you think you've found everything there is to find you'll discover some new twist. The space is very unique and offers a lot of room to sprawl during the day. The bedroom space is a little 'cozy' so I wouldn't expect much intimate time if you bring others. Beyond that the surrounding are is very nice. There's a bit of traffic to contend with along the lake but is generally quite silent. The nearby town has most things you'd need but groceries were a little light compared to a larger store so bring any food you'd want to definitely have on hand. Great stay overall, will definitely want to go back. "
