"The staff were very hospitable which was more similar to the customer service in the U.S. than in other parts of Spain. There were also friendly dogs that were sweet and it's in a very peaceful location. We tried a red wine from their vineyard and I had no complaints."

"We have nothing but praise for this hotel! The beds were incredibly comfy, the room was way more spacious than it looked in the picture, and it is super clean! The ‘make your own breakfast’ is really smart - no need to hurry in the mornings :) It’s family run, and they are so nice and helpful. Loved them! The village is cute too, and everyone is really nice and friendly. Lovely Zafra is just a 15 minute drive away. We traveled as a family of three (child aged 8), but it is definitely best...

"The inner courtyard is lovely. We had popped in for a drink when previously in Zafra so this time decided to stay. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was clean. "Attractive older property located right on the old town square. Room and bathroom both decent sized, clean and tastefully decorated. "Very central and an easy walk into centre. Lovely setting, it's partly built into the city wall. Very clean and nice communal areas. Communication is very difficult as we have limited Spanish and non of the staff spoke English but we battled through. We've stayed her several times on our way back and forwa to Cadiz and we will definitely stay again. There parking available at a rate of 10Eur per day however it's worth the extra as it is secure."
