"Amazing stay! Lovely room, nice decor. Private patio area which we weren't expecting. Lovely friendly staff. Way better than we expected. One word of warning, don't shut the door to the patio area when you are outside ... only opens from the inside !"

"Madreselva was so lovely I wanted to move in!! It’s rustic but comfortable. The rooms are set around a central patio with tables chairs and sofas, and filled with tropical plants which give a cool ambience at any time of day. The staff are all lovely (special thanks to Alba who quickly responded to queries before and during our stay). Even the other guests were pleasant and friendly. We’ll definitely be back, next time for longer. "

"Very relaxing hotel with staff that are always helpful and friendly. Close to the beach but if not wanting to go too far there’s a cool, clean and inviting pool on site complete with shaded lounge chairs and soft grass. Rooms are cleaned daily and done very well. Breakfasts are great and very filling. Especially love their fruit salad and yoghurt! Never left breakfast wishing I had more. For the more active, there is a lovely walk/hike into the national park from here - get a map and bring along...
