I read many reviews about this property before booking. A lot of reviews included the "ok" food, the selection of beers, some silly bad reviews about extra charges for like "straws".
First of all this is an all inclusive resort. Any all inclusive resort you stay at you're taking the risk of mediocre food and drinks. People that complained about it are I'm sure the same people that leave zero tips for staff. The food was great, not "fine dining" but there was plenty of options and choices. I traveled with my family of 5 (3 kids).
some nights restaurants were busy and had up to an hour wait time. I sat and witnessed people screaming and yelling at the staff because they weren't able to sit there party OF FIFTEEN in a short amount of time. It was the most disgusting thing to witness.
We never waited longer than 30 minutes to sit down to eat. We were treated very well every time! I'm sure it had to do with the way we would tip as they should!! We never left a tip under $25 for any time we ate, wether it was at the pool, restaurant etc... I seen people leave lousy $4 tips for dinner and its the same people that would complain.
We are at an all inclusive resort! what can easily be a $100 meal each time was zero and you choose not to tip! is beyond me.
The staff was all amazing!!! The entertainment was every hour on the hour! Not only for kids but for the adults! Kids club spectacular! Would stay here again!
