Warm California Retreat with Brand New Kitchen ideally Situated!

Make our home your little "getaway"! Kitchen is in the process of being fully remodeled so be the first to enjoy it. Will post updated pictures at the end of the week when the counters are in. Perfect for those visiting friends or family in the LA area or locals looking for a place to stay while they do their own remodel. House is professionally cleaned between guests and key-less entry makes check in a breeze. Our high speed wifi will help stay connected.

This three bedroom and two bathroom home is centrally located in Studio City with comfortable living spaces and a lovely private backyard complete with pool and spa. It is perfect for couples traveling together or for small families. Let us be your home away from home. We will negotiate on rates for long-term stays

If you'd like to explore the neighborhood, Ventura Blvd is within walking distance offering diverse restaurants, pubs and shops. Universal Studios and Harry Potter World, Griffith Park, Pasadena (Rose Bowl & Parade), Santa Monica, Staples Center, Dodger Stadium and Hollywood are all within short drives. In just about 45 minutes you can play at Disneyland and California Adventure.


For a relaxing day or evening at home, the house is stocked with family friendly movies and board games and plenty of comfy indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy a nice meal or glass of wine.

Great stay at Julie's Studio City home!
Julie's house was the perfect spot for my parents, who were visiting Los Angeles for a full month. The house is lovely, perfectly clean, very well equipped, and incredibly comfortable. The house has everything you need and then some. My parents loved sitting out on the back patio, sitting in the sun room near the kitchen reading books, and they even got to use the wonderful pool a few times! The house is in a perfect location in Studio City. Walkable to the grocery store and other restaurants/cafes on Ventura Blvd. Easy access to the 101 freeway, Coldwater Canyon and Laurel Canyon to get up and over the hill... couldn't be better. The neighborhood itself is quiet and picturesque, and my parents loved taking their dog on long walks in the sunshine. Julie was a wonderful host - kind, communicative, responsive, proactive... all the good things. We simply cannot recommend Julie and her Studio City home enough. Thank you Julie! Looking forward to coming back.

a clean, comfortable, well stocked home, with a pool, in a very cute neighborhood
This was a great place for me to stay while visiting my family for over a month. My kids and granddaughter came to hang out, swim, and have dinner most days. The pool was maintained perfectly. The house is clean, casual, and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. The friendly neighborhood location was convenient, and Julie was available for any questions. I highly recommend this home.

Excellent Week-Long Hideway
The house was very nice - beds comfy and showers wonderful. Decor austere, but stylish. Location was remarkably quiet for how convenient it is. The draw though is THE POOL and HOT TUB - at least for a couple of Minnesotans in town for a wedding on a week when the highs were in the 90s. It was a glorious experience. And host Julie was great, quick to tend to a minor check-in miscue, quick to call back, and ever pleasant and accommodating. We would highly recommend.

A Lovely House In A Great Neighbourhood
We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean on arrival and Julie, who was a fantastically responsive host, had installed an Xmas tree to greet us! The decor and furnishings were excellent and the well equipped kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The cold weather meant we didn't make use of the enticing looking pool or jacuzzi...maybe next time?! The location was perfect for us...south and within easy walking distance of Ventura Boulevard in a quiet, rustic and friendly street. Unreservedly recommended!

Perfect home in perfect L.A. location
My wife, 2 daughters, and I were fortunate enough to stay in this home July 21-28 during our visit to the Los Angeles area. The home is located in Studio City, a very convenient area for those who are interested in spending most of their time in Burbank, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, etc. Also, an easy commute to Malibu and LAX. The neighborhood is very clean, well maintained, and quiet. The home is beautiful on the exterior and interior. It is comfortably furnished. We thoroughly enjoyed our evenings on the back porch and in the swimming pool/hot tub. This place is a gem. Many wonderful memories were created on this trip due, in large part, to the wonderful accomodations. The owners truly go out of their way to enhance the guest experience. I would recommend this property without hesitation. I only hope that we have an opportunity to visit again.

Beautiful and Quiet House
It was a perfect house for my family of four. Very comfortable atmosphere with great decor. The pool was an added bonus that capped off a great day from a long day of site seeing. Julie and David are great, responsive hosts and leaves thorough instructions. The location was perfect to site see all around the LA proper. Very quiet neighborhood and very close to grocery store and restaurants. We will certainly keep this on our favorites for the next family visit.

Wonderful retreat in Studio City, California
My family (spouse and two children) rented Julie & David’s lovely Studio City home for a week in June. Their home is conveniently located to shops, restaurants and hiking trails in Fryman Canyon and Dixie Canyon. The home is clean, comfortable and has a fantastic pool-which our children enjoyed every day of our stay. The furniture is comfortable and well maintained. There are many board games and Disney movies on VHS and DVD which we enjoyed during our stay. We would definitely return to Julie & David’s home. Julie was responsive to all of our inquiries. It was a top notch experience!

Studio City is a great spot from which to explore LA, and this neighborhood is particularly pleasant. The pool is a great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful Southern California weather.
