I recently stayed at The Crescent powered by Sonder in Beverly Hills, and it was an okay experience. The hotel has a sleek, modern design and is in an active, vibrant area, just a short walk from popular Beverly Hills attractions like Rodeo Drive. The location is definitely a highlight, especially if you want to be in the heart of the action.
However, the room was very small—much smaller than expected—and there were no views to enjoy from the room. Additionally, there were no real amenities, and the property operates with a self-service model. While the app-based check-in was smooth, the lack of on-site staff or traditional hotel perks made it feel less inviting. I have stayed at other Sonder's before and this was probably the worst ever, but not compared to other brands.
If you're just looking for a decent bed and a place to crash, this will do. However, considering the high price point, the lack of space, views, and amenities didn’t quite match the cost. Overall, The Crescent is fine for a short stay if you prioritize location over comfort, but it may not be the best choice for those seeking more spacious or full-service accommodations.
