THE Zen Treehouse Retreat- Great Views and Peaceful Decks!

Our 1926 cottage is a secret Zen retreat! It is nestled in the hills below Topanga and surrounded by sounds of nature & lovely views. Every guest seems to find a spot to fall in love with! Retreat offers a spacious cafe style lit deck with amazing views, succulent garden, gorgeous deck off main suite w/ vast views, a calming study to read in & a tranquil meditation style loft. The newly renovated kitchen creates an amazing culinary experience. Steps away from hiking trails & minutes from PCH.

Natural light filled rooms inspire our guests to open the windows, turn on music and be in the moment. Fabulous windows throughout the cottage create such a perfect energy.

Three bedrooms all with a Zen vibe, a peaceful study & office space, cozy living room and chefs kitchen are what make up your unique stay at the cottage. It is a space of respite, calm, reset and sweet reminders of being in the moment.

Make yourself a morning coffee at the cafe bar, enjoy the sounds of birds chirping on the deck and head out to start your day off right. Whether its hiking, biking, going to the beach, shopping, eating some of the best food, or relaxing... it is all just minutes from the treehouse.

Our little cottage is the recipe for a perfect start to the day. The treehouse is centrally located to amazing restaurants, boutique shopping, endless hiking trails and beaches.

Upon your return to the treehouse, the decks are the perfect place to enjoy golden hour with your loved ones. Sip on a glass of wine, under the cafe lights, as the breeze fills the air and good conversation fills your soul. Evenings under the stars become the most memorable ones.

This space was truly beautiful. Absolutely dreamy. I wasn't to be in the hills but was still a plus. The view was stunning and i would wake up every morning just to watch yhe sunrise. I was not ready to check out.

Charm and Relaxation
This August, my family stayed for about a week at AJ's Zen Treehouse Retreat. It was ridiculously charming and full of small touches that made it easy to enjoy ourselves. Stocked with every kitchen gadget you can imagine, a sweet gift bag, and a gorgeous deck, we spent time reading, taking in the views, and exploring the area. Highly recommended.

Treehouse Retreat
This home is a serene retreat with all the comfort and amenities needed for a weekend or longer stay. The windows and natural light are wonderful for viewing wildlife; and decks and terraces beckon you to linger with morning coffee, or late afternoon cocktail. For those coming from out of the area, the hillside canyon neighborhood is peaceful and quiet (no traffic noise). Perfect location to stay if you plan to explore Topanga Canyon or head over to Malibu.

The Zen Treehouse is well stocked, well designed and in a lovely location. I brought my Mom for a Mother Daughter weekend and to attend a wedding in Augora Hills. What a perfect location! Very comfortable beds, relaxing rooms and beautiful outdoor patio - very peaceful. AJ was very responsive and helpful - we felt well taken care of!

Peaceful experience
From the moment you step up into the garden, you are literally transformed. The place is incredibly clean, incredibly peaceful and all your needs are carefully thought out. We stayed here for 5 nights on a mother-daughter trip to LA and absolutely loved it. Beautifully decorated, just as pictures show. We enjoyed the quietude and tree canopy views; loved working in the kitchen (well-outfitted!) and lounging around in the living room; the interior design brought the house together and made it easy to appreciate natural light. This place is magical! The vibe of the entire property is lovely, bright and uplitfing. There is such wonderful attention to detail and use of space, which makes the energy flow so well that it feels good anywhere you choose to enjoy a moment. Highly recommend! Perfect location tucked into a hillside surrounded by mature Aleppo Pines and Live Oaks. You truly feel isolated with plenty of options to just sit down, relax and focus on what matters. Great kitchen! The succulent gardens were amazing! One of our favorite VRBO experiences to date! (My wife and I traveling with our 18 year old and 12 year old.)

THE TREEHOUSE
This is one of the best VRBO places we have ever rented. The home was perfect! It’s very relaxing and beautifully decorated. It has everything you would ever need to make a great meal and two amazing locations to eat your meal with your family. The property is very special, exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and is beautifully decorated. In short, it is the perfect place for a peaceful, relaxing getaway with family and friends. Communication with the host was smooth and easy and not a single detail is overlooked. The location and house make a great home base for exploring the area, but are also perfect for those just wanting a cozy place to stay in and relax. I can't recommend the Zen Treehouse enough and we look forward to another stay as soon as we can make it happen.

Absolutely stunning!
This is a designers dream- think designer Amber Lewis and you will get the feel. Roomy and cozy, everything is high end and located in one of Woodland Hills most desirable neighborhoods. Don’t look any further - you will not be disappointed and AJ is great!
