Bugs, Dirty Floors, Blood on Bedding.
This was probably the worst lodging experience ever. Floors are so soiled that we wore our shoes the entire time. Bugs crawling out of the sink, in bathroom and on nightstand. Garbage disposal broken and super smelly. Blood on pillows and dirty sheets. stained dirty bathroom floors. no soaps, shampoos or laundry soaps.

First of all... some people are hard to please and will complain about anything. Those folks you can filter a little. We are NOT those folks. So that being said... this place was not at all what it is was reported to be. The carpet was filthy (needs to be replaced). the beds were jammed into one bedroom, miss-matched, uncomfortable and questionable spots on the sheets. The fold out bed was so bad my kids could hardly sleep on it. The shower/bath looked like someone changed oil in the tub...with dark black spots on the tub. Broken glass by the pool and lots of millennials looking to hook up around the pool. This was the least well equipped VRBO we've encountered along our 2.5 week tour of the West. Lastly, I texted with our contact several times just before arrival (who was great until after we checked in). He was fine other than the fact that he ignored all my texts as I started to communicate about the issues we were having. Still haven't heard from him actually. I don't even know what to do with the keys to this place. Avoid please.

Although I had read the other reviews it was not quite what I expected. I was delayed by a day due to the BA computer glitch so notified them. They did acknowledge this and I had to call as I stood outside. Checking was then ok but the carpet in the apartment was really dirty with stain everywhere. The luxury toiletries consisted of one shampoo and conditioner. Michael did supply me with more when asked. A resort fee of US$7 and a US$55 cleaning fee are a rip-off. My key did not work when I tried to get back in the first night. On phoning the number it went to voicemail only to be told the voicemail box was full. As a woman travelling on my own I felt quite vulnerable. Someone let me in and said it often happened on the first night. I eventually found the pool in the other building which was ok. The hot tub was very foamy. There were no directions to the pool in the other building and I wandered round corridors to get there. It could be a lot better. Had to email Michael in the end and even then did not get a reply straightaway. Walk to Convention centre ok and size of appartment good. Not much outside noise but window blinds broken so could not darken room.

Check out was OK, A comfortable apartment, Beds were comfy, living room couch was OK. Kitchen is fully equipped. No sports channels available to watch on TV..Noisy with construction nearby and the sound of ambulances will keep you awake because of the hospital nearby. No nearby shopping areas..

Very Disappointing Service
Had to wait 20 minutes in the lobby before someone appeared to check me in. There is no registration desk. When I got to the room, one lamp was broken and the disposal reeked of rotten food. The surrounding area is so-so, and the layout of the property is like a labyrinth. My reservation was for a week, but, due to an emergency, I had to leave after one night. They refused to negotiate even a partial refund on the rest of the week.

The big problem was they did NOTgive us the room we PAID for, and the night before arrival asked us to agree to a switch! Whar choice did we have? So instead of a 2 br apartment wiith 2 baths for 5 people, they gave us a small one bedroom with one bath. We are athletes going to a tournament after a 6.5 hour drive from the Bay Area. We arrived late and had to get uo at 5:30! We wanted 2 bedrooms and 2 baths so we could get up and out before 7am! They agreed to switch us to the 2 br that we paid for the NEXT nite, which meant we had to pack up food, water and suitcases, haul them down to the car and haul all back up the next nite to the aartment we paid for and reserved! The apartment we reserved and should have had BOTH nights was wonderfully spacious and clean and it would have been a dream stay had they honored the original PAID reservation! So, can they be trusted NOT to pull a "bait and switch" if we reserve with them again? And we have not yet seen the measly refund offered!

Dirty, big disappointment, and unfair extra fees!
Extremely dirty. Had to wash the sheets ourselves as they contained hair, debris. Walls and carpets covered in stains. Dirty tissues and hair things on floor. Dresser drawers would not shut. And for this I had to pay a $55 cleaning fee! Also pool and hot tub not working despite the required $7/day resort fee. There is more but that gives you the idea. Big disappointment and feel like I swindled out of a lot of money.

Good but not great
Great location close to lots of points of interest, and to stores and restaraunts, but parking was difficult (there was a seemingly abandoned car with 4 flat tires next us in the underground assigned spot, with a large concrete pillar on the other side, making it VERY difficult to get in & out of out spot). Also, our key fob did not work for the hot tub in our building, meaning we had to go across the street every time to use the other one, and the key fob only worked on one of the two entry gates to that spa area. Things were clean enough, comfortable enough, and spacious enough in the apartment, but nothing to get excited about. Very little hot water and virtually no water pressure in the shower--really difficult to get all the conditioner out of our hair! It was okay but not great overall. In fact, the only spectacular aspects were 1) the beautiful views of the downtown skyline from both our 7th floor balcony & the rooftop pool across the street, and 2) the amazing gorgeous historic architecture of both buildings. Those two things were pretty great.

Had very good stay. Place is quiet, clean, comfortable. Michael, the property manager pleasant and is always available for any question you may have. Felt safe, with parking space and hotel amenities complementing my stay in LA.

20 minute walk to Staples centre was the only thing that was true about this place. While Michael was pleasant and friendly enough during check in... the room was not clean, found moldy cheese by the stove, the matress had a "sanitized second hand" sticker on it, and the mold around the taps in both bathroom and kitchen made me wonder if the housekeeping staff had ever cleaned them. The hotwater tank in the outside closet banged loud enough to wake us.

Not a level of hotel, it's a no service apartment
Need to call a number to check-in and leave room key to a sleepy sercirity who were not in his counter that I need to drop the room key and show doesn't care about anything on check-out, there was no really has any staff service, but still charge a fee for this! Poor communication! Call the contact person on check-out, no responded , no call back! This is a most worse experience I had in stay in a expensive accommodation and got no service, and confused with the process of check-in and check-out. Absolutely not going back again!

Terrible experience, only good for space.
Terrible ! Check in took forever as there is no specific desk to walk up to, female worker took like 13mins. even though we were the ONLY people doing so. She also had bad breath and spoke into my face. You only get 1 room key, elevators are slow, and the tv freezes for 4-6 sec. and plays for 2 sec., goes on & on. Carpet through the room, worn out, & dirty....and you get charged $55 usd for it - total scam. Space is good, shower water pressure is like you urinating, has a kitchen but the pots and pans are cheap IKEA teflon non stick but all scraped up - teflon is carcinogenic. Gym is ok, hot tub/outdoor jacuzzi is small and not inviting so we did not use it. Bottom line : DO NOT BOOK HERE - GO ELSEWHERE !!

Great Place & Great Price
First and foremost, the other reviewers left such bad comments that would have made me miss out and I didn't choose to call them before booking my room. All those who are looking to book this place must realize this is not a "HOTEL", this is a luxury condo in a residential building. We rented the 2 bedroom apartment option. The room has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathroom,washer dryer, stainless steel appliances, wifi, secure entry, balcony, and no annoying complaints from the tenants. We didn't have much contact with the owner but we did reach out 2 times and he responsed within 3 minutes. Overall the place is great and this is a great LA steal.

Good location, but needs improvement
The first impression was good, however as we wanted to enjoy and relax during our staying with our 4 years old son and that did not happen due to the fact that we found broken glass on the balcony floor as it was not cleaned up. We found dirty socks left off in the bed room as well as the housekeepers kept ringing the bell early in the mornings without considering that we need our time to rest.

Wonderful suites!!
Stayed here for a week, was very convenient to our destinations, check in went smoothly, all gated for security which made us feel safe, wasn't in a bad neighborhood either. Very beautiful apartment. Room was wonderful, kitchen could have had more cooking utensils like a pizza pan and cutter but that's minor. Has a computer room and printer which I needed. Fitness center, pool, spas, grills on terrace, saw a indoor movie theater on room binder but didn't seek it out. Parking was $12 a day plus a cleaning fee of $59 as well as a $7 a day resort fee which I was unaware when I booked. For the rate, I was ok with that. You have your own parking space so parking was no problem. Would stay here again if in that area. Only one thing I would do definitely if booked again is a room on other side of street or view of pool as traffic was loud and police station was few blocks away, very noisy.

The apartment was a good size, no one really knew how to help us in the lobby. This place is a sublet apartment complex so don't expect hotel amenities. The maid service woke us up several times to ask us when we were checking out when check out time is at 11. We were told we could check in early and once we arrived were told that that's not a possibility. There's no place to park unless you are checked in so we had to take our car with us with all of our bags.
