Dishonest and Unprofessional – A Nightmare Experience
I had an absolutely terrible experience with this establishment, and I feel compelled to warn others. This place is not a hotel—it’s a motel situated right beside a highway, with constant noise that makes it impossible to relax. The description online claimed it was a quiet location near the water, which couldn’t be further from the truth. I was in my room for no more than five minutes before deciding it wasn’t acceptable, and that’s when the real issues began.
I was assured I could cancel without penalty, but instead, I’ve been charged my original booking cost, a “holding fee for incidentals,” and an additional $400 for no apparent reason. In total, I’ve been charged more than $600 above what I originally agreed to, despite not staying a single night. When I contacted Alisha Richardson, she assured me that I would be refunded everything except the cost of one night. Weeks later, I still haven’t received any refund, and instead, I’ve seen new charges on my credit card that I can’t even begin to explain.
To make matters worse, Expedia has been completely useless in helping me resolve this issue. Despite numerous calls and emails, they have taken no responsibility and offered no meaningful assistance. Their lack of accountability has only added to the stress and frustration of dealing with this mess.
