Summary:
Chic luxury meets adventure; our Canyon Cottage is perched on a bluff with rolling hillsides and spectacular ocean views. The primary bedroom lets you rest on an elevated king bed with French doors overlooking the view. Step out from the bedroom to a sundeck with a cedar hot-tub, outdoor shower and lounge seating with a firepit. One bathroom along with a kitchen, dining space, and cozy living nook to curl up for a movie or quality relaxation. The additional bedroom can double as a remote office.
The Space:
A modern style and freshly renovated 2 bedroom guest house (approximately 700 square feet) less than a mile from the sandy Malibu beaches. The suite boasts a 180-degree panoramic view of the mountains meeting the pacific ocean. The home features a king-size bed, fast and free unlimited WiFi, and a Samsung Frame LED TV. The entire space is newly renovated by awarded designers at Creative Builders; the result is a crisp clean zen-modern escape that captures Malibu luxury and provides everything you need for a relaxing and romantic beach holiday in the heart of Malibu.

Please note there are 3 separate spaces for rent on this property. There are no shared areas and guests may not enter the areas reserved for another house. There is an option to rent all 3 houses together if extra space and privacy is needed.
In order to maintain the property we have our gardeners servicing the property on Mondays and they are typically working the entire day. Our hot tub tech will also come Mondays briefly to service the hot tub. Please note that sometimes we may on rare occasions need to adjust the days of service due to weather/rain or other unexpected events.
This house is surrounded by some amazing nature, and so you can expect to see some bugs and wildlife at times. In the summer they are especially active--we are always clearing off spider webs and cleaning inside and outside but please understand you probably will run into some bugs & critters during your stay. Please keep all doors closed at all times to prevent bugs from entering the home.
Guest Access:
There is one reserved parking spot right in front of the guesthouse entrance, and additional parking is available along the street if needed.
The Neighborhood:
The house is located within the Malibu Canyons. There are no direct neighbors. The house is right on Las Flores Canyon Road. Pacific Coast Highway with all its iconic restaurants are all within a 15 minute drive of the property.
Getting Around:
We strongly recommend renting a car as there are no stores or restaurants within walking distance. It could also take longer to get an Uber from this location at night.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY (4 PPL) MUST BE RESPECTED AT ALL TIMES
ANY PARTIES WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION
It's is of utmost importance to note that all noise and music must remain indoors and at a reasonable level by 9-10pm. The neighbors are extremely sensitive, so it's crucial that all activities and noise levels are respectful at all times. We can't have complaints of obtrusive music, guests entertaining, or people hanging out by the hot tub being loud. It's important to be mindful of this before booking. Any gatherings of more than 4 people are not allowed on the property unless discussed and cleared with the host before check in.
Rules of the house:
- No parties, loud music or gatherings of more than 4 people allowed in the house
- Max occupancy of 4 people must be respected
- No use of hot tub area past 10pm
- Pets allowed on a case by case basis - please check with host before arrival - $90 per day/per pet
- Smoking prohibited indoors & outdoors- $250 fine for smoking
- $35 charge per towel for any stained/ruined towel
- $200 charge if the house is left excessively messy and requires additional cleaning
Guests must be transparent and truthful about the questions asked by the house at booking. It's a very quiet neighborhood and the neighbors have zero tolerance for noise disturbance. Non compliance with the rules cited above or complaints from neighbors will result in immediate eviction.
Upon check in, please report any damages to avoid being charged. We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything please let us know immediately - if it's minor we usually won't charge. If it's a larger issue, we would like to agree on the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later. Thank you!
