Terrible experience zero stars
We did not stay at this property for even an hour. The AC was listed as an amenity and was not working. The homes temperature was above 80 degrees with zero options for ventilation (NONE of the windows had screens). The home was covered in a film of dirt on all surfaces - carpets and couches had stains, excrement was in one of the bathroom toilets, floors were filthy etc. On one level of the home the thermostat was hanging loosely from the wall with exposed wiring. I brought all of this to hosts attention and initially the host was argumentative and only addressed the cleanliness by stating that he observed the cleaning (which was apparent he had not) but not the issues with the AC which was the primary issue. A resolutions case was opened with VRBO as I was unable to stay at this property with the high heat with my two children and the dilapidated conditions. This property was not as advertised. Neither party moved towards a resolution other than to offer me 10% of the cost of our ENTIRE stay as a refund amount. I would never recommend VRBO as suitable company and if you do use this them I’d avoid this host on LA.

We were happy with the house and especially with the location. We had some difficulty with so many stairs and the fact that what was termed a third bedroom didn't really serve our purpose since it was basically just a sofa. The host was very nice and responded when we had a chirping smoke detector. All in all, a good first experience
