The Space:
Malibu Sand Suite #15 is a part of a multi unit complex compromised of 6 Apartments and 1 main house. This particular unit is a spacious 2 bedroom with 2 pullout sofa's perfect for families or friends traveling. Its has 2.5 baths with a kitchenette (Full sized fridge, microwave, 4 burner gas cooktop, Breville toaster oven and Nespresso machine - we provide pods, creamers and sweeteners). 1 of the bedrooms has a balcony overlooking the courtyard and main house. Free parking on site on a first come first serve basis.
Guest Access:
Please note that guests who are staying in the Malibu Sand suites do not have access to the elevated beach surface at Malibu Sand or the elevated beach surface at SA Beach which is the property that we manage next door. There is a house on the Malibu Sand property that rents completely separate from the suites. The elevated beach surface and the rooftop jacuzzi area are reserved for the house. If you'd like to rent a suite and have access to an elevated beach surface with sand and lounge chairs, please rent one of our SA Beach suites next door!
The Neighborhood:
Dubbed "Billionaire's Beach" by locals, Carbon Beach has become one of the most popular and requested beaches in Malibu. Known for its long sandy beaches makes Carbon perfect for long walks on the beach, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and sunbathing. You will be steps away from Nobu, the SoHo House, and seconds away from the sand. You can walk to Surfrider beach or the Malibu Pier from the beach access onsite, or you can walk a little further to the Country Mart for the best restaurants and shops in Malibu. There are always new shops opening nearly every day.
Property is located on Pacific Coast Highway. Guests are subject to hearing potential road noise and/or waves crashing.

To maintain property and neighborhood harmony, we have important rules. Please read carefully.
1) No parties, visitors, or unapproved guests. Submit all guest names before booking. Government ID may be requested from the person who booked. A guest is anyone who will spend any amount of time at the property. Our strict guest policy ensures neighborhood peace and legal compliance. Exceeding capacity risks our permit, we may ask you to leave.
2) No pets allowed except for service animals as required by law.
3) No smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, or similar (outside and indoors). Our state-of-the-art smoke detectors notify the fire department - $500 fee for false alarms or rule violations. City Code Section 41.50 B 18 b | High Brush Fire Zone | Prevent Wildfires | It’s the LAW.
4) Do not send mail to property before or after your reservation dates. If needed, send it to our office; we'll deliver to the property on your arrival day. We're not responsible for lost mail.
5) Quiet hours: 10:00pm to 8:00am to ensure peaceful atmosphere for all guests and neighbors. Property is located on Pacific Coast Highway. Guests are subject to hearing potential road noise and/or waves crashing.
7) Day of Arrival:
Let us know if you prefer self-check-in or a personal tour. Only the guest who booked can check in and must show their ID for security.
8) Check-In: We have a check-in window from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Early check-in is based upon availability and will need to be approved by our team. Please keep this in mind as the day of your arrival approaches. If you are arriving later than 6pm, please reach out to our team for approval.
Check-out: 10:00am.
9) When you are departing the property, please make sure that you do not leave anything behind. Our team is not responsible for Lost or Stolen Items. If our team finds a lost item, we will ship it back to the guest. The guest will be responsible for paying the shipping cost plus a $50 service fee.
10) Pre-Stocking: Choose from our available pre-stocking options with at least one week's notice. A $75 service fee applies to all requests.

12) Parking:
There are three garage ports at the Malibu Sand property; however, only the second and third ports are for the guests staying at the Malibu Sand Suites. The second port can accommodate two vehicles and the third can accommodate one vehicle. So, there are a total of three spots. You will receive one parking pass and you cannot park in any of the three spots without the parking pass. If you are not able to get a spot, then you will need to park either on PCH or in the overflow parking lot above the complex that has D’amores pizza and PC Greens. Note that the handicap spot is ticketed by the police - as are all handicap spots in California. So, do not park there - or anywhere - without the relevant pass(es). The police will not hesitate to charge you +$500 for parking where you shouldn’t.
Cleanliness:
We take our cleaning seriously. You can trust that our homes are thoroughly deep cleaned between guest visits. All of our homes have white hotel-style linens, white towels, toiletries for our guests, and well stocked kitchens with high-end appliances. Amid COVID-19, our cleaning intensified: surfaces wiped with hot water and disinfectants. All towels and linens washed, regardless of appearance; many hotels don't. Door handles and high-touch spots get extra care. Staff wears masks, gloves, and shoe coverings. Our exceptional cleaning surpasses CDC standards.
This property contains an exterior camera at the front door which is motion sensored and is active during guests stay.
