Clean and otherwise good but no amenities at all
All good but no amenities at all. No Soap. No shampoo. No paper towels. This is not a dealbreaker. But I feel that the site should just warn people that they need to bring their own soap and shampoo. Come on guys!

Runaway Runaway!!!!!
The most horrific Hotel experience I've ever had exclamation!! Unclear instructions, email instructions arriving 2 days after my check in, no one able to provide any information, telephone number two persons with minimal English experience and unable to provide information, no continuity between what information I did have and how to implement the instructions. I was supposed to get a receipt so that I could return the receipt and get my refund back. No one knew what I was talking about. No one had any kind of an idea of a receipt. The unit itself was built like a bomb shelter. Walls were concrete and so therefore sound ricocheting off of everything. Sound of people talking in the hall, any doors opening or closing, any water running through the pipes, which of course were exposed. The free parking nearly got my car towed away because I hadn't paid the overnight parking. But who was to get this payment? There was no one accepting money. Shower head was broken and even if you didn't want to wash your hair you had to because the water was spraying in all directions & running out of the tub and soaking the entire bathroom. It was close to the convention center and managed my needs there. I would never use this again. I may never use hotels.com again.

NO HOT WATER, NO CELL RECEPTION! DO NOT BOOK: SCAM
WARNING: DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!!! They will completely rip you off and Hotels.com claims no fault. First, their rate of $157/night for Luxury Studio is not what you end up paying, and its non-refundable (no matter what!) There is an additional $65 in taxes, $150 mandatory fee, and a $160 cleaning fee. My stay ended up well over $600+ when it should have been closer to $350. You can book a luxury hotel in Downtown LA for $300/night for that cost. Second, they ask for a visual copy of your credit card and license to be sent over email. This is NOT properly disclosed on Hotels.com and when I tried to cancel because of this I could not be refunded. Third, I had MAJOR issues at the property itself. There is no physical person there to check you in, so you have to find the key yourself and find the apartment. I had NO HOT WATER for the two days I was there, called their property and they ended up doing nothing about it by the time I left. Next, THERE IS NO CELL PHONE RECEPTION in the unit where i was staying (have Verizon). Absurd for $300/night. This unit was on the first floor, surrounded by concrete walls so no wonder. This again was not disclosed in their rental agreement or on Hotels.com! Last, their claim to have Cable TV provided, there was no working television either. When I called the property, they have dodged me several times refusing any compensation/makegood and Hotels.com did nothing either. NO DOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

Understand that this is not a hotel. No registration desk, no clean towels everyday. The registration process was awkward and it wasn't comforting to know that there is really no support should any trouble be encountered. Didn't care for the "cleaning fee" that was a separate charge. Just build it into the price instead of the seemingly good deal for accommodations. That said, room was nice and spacious. But with the concrete walls and roofs I couldn't get any cell phone service or wifi when I was in the room. This is a big negative when you need to stay in contact with the outside world. Bathmat needs to be provided

Everything was HORRIBLE about the room, dont bother
Getting into your room was like playing the game show Amazing Race!! There were no staff that you could talk to face to face, it's all over the phone. My family waited nearly 2 hours to get into the room as we spent so much time trying to find the room key which was an absolute joke!! The staff were rude and abrupt, and I had to call them many times as the lights in the lounge area were not working. The hair dryer was not working which was replaced. The oven did not have trays and when I asked the staff we were only given a large baking dish. The room however was not clean when we checked in, but they promptly charge a cleaning fee of $171 from the previous guests. The carpets seemed like they had not been vacummed in ages. The sheets also smelt mouldy and unclean. The toilet was not working properly and completely blocked up with waste floating in it, on the last day that we stayed at the apartment. We needed to bear with the smell the entire night that we slept in the room which was disgusting. When I called was told that I need to use the toilet near the reception area during the night, which was highly impractical at all as I had a child. To make matters worse they charge you a deposit of $450. I had to call a few times before the deposit money was refunded. When the money was finally refunded they charged a credit surcharge, so we didn't get back the full amount! I would definitely avoid this place at all costs, and would not recommend to anyone.

COMPLICATED AND CHALLENGING TO GET IN THE ROOM.
Where to start? be aware of the $172.00 per stay cleaning fee. ( not too clean apartment after all ) be aware of the $450.00 security deposit. i got back 413. so i think there are more hiding charges/fees. plus the $334.00 price-( two nights) i would feel more comfortable and happy if is advertised as 250 per night plus taxes. that sounds more honest and the location is great. only one block from the staples center. lots of good restaurants, bars, etc, at walking distance. i know the confirmation says -no front desk. and call, email, etc, for more check in details. well, getting inside the apartment is basically like a mission impossible mission. once they get the security payment, you get the next clue. to me it was an adventure. for my wife was stressful and not funny at all. I DID NOT LIKE TO HAVE TO SEND THEM PICTURES OF MY DIVER LICENCE AND CREDIT CARD ON BOTH SIDES. even after getting in the building you cannot use the elevator. a special security device is needed to activate the elevator. there are many challenges to finally get in the room. we were outside the building at 3:55 pm. finally got inside the room at 6:00 pm. if you like to solve mysteries and like spy missions go for it! you will have lots of memories to tell your friends at a party.

Perfect... once you check in
Setting up the hotel stay is a pain in the butt. If you book with an external site there are multiple steps to follow. Including cleaning fee, deposit, and lease signature. They will contact you with details. Once you get checked in it is smooth sailing. The location is very convenient if you plan on attending the LA Convention Center and its surrounding attractions like the Staples Center. All walking distance. The building is secure with locks at every entrance including to operate the elevator. You also will get an assigned parking spot in the parking garage. A lot of the spots were compact parking. I did have an issue will cell service in the room because the walls are concrete, but worked fine by window.

DONT STAY HERE!
DO NOT BOOK HERE! You'll thank me. The unit itself is ok and well located, but everything else about this is terrible. The unit I stayed at was marketed as a hotel and it absolutely should not be. It is in a Loft building, which are condos. It should be on a vacation rental site, not here. Nothing about this place is a hotel. Advertised free parking. There was no free parking. There was paid parking which they will supposedly reimburse you for. They sent me directions to access the unit and those directions were wrong. Luckily, the cleaning lady was there and saw me loitering on the phone trying to figure things out with the not at all useful customer service. Also, while the listing did mention the fees, they were buried down at the bottom of the page and I wasn't aware when I made the booking. There is a large cleaning fee and a much larger deposit for a 2 night stay (which I have read several other reviews which said they did not get their deposit back after posting negative reviews. I got most of mine back AFTER 3 WEEKS, waited until I got it back to post my review). The turnaround time for returning the deposit it totally unacceptable. If you call and ask for updates, they just say it's at their accounting department and they'll send them a reminder, but that it's a minimum 1-2 weeks to return it. This not not an honest business. Stay away from anything associated with them (hello relaxation is the company name). DO NOT BOOK HERE!

Over priced & to check in they send you on a scavenger hunt instead of just giving you the keys to the room , it was overpriced & a $171 cleaning fee is a bit way too much . Room was nice and comfortable though

Apartment in downtown L.A.
We stayed in this apartment for the weekend. It has a very convenient downtown LA location, perfect for events at Staples Center. It has a new modern industrial feel, nice workout center, very secure parking garage, nice patio and pool, nice lounge with pool table. Everything was new, room was very spacious. The only thing I didn't like was that you have to pay a fairly expensive security deposit and a daily cleaning fee on top of the daily rate. Read the fine print.

Unprofessional Customer Service
I arrived at the hotel at 7pm and tried check in. The front desk was not the hotel assistant, and he was a security guard for the apartment building. He asked me to call my agent to check in. The number was in my travel schedule from Exprdia. I called them, and they said they send me a document to fill. I disregard the email because they asked me the personal infos. She gave me a 4 digit code for the to get the property after I gave her my ID and CC infos. I called the agent again for what do I do with the 4 digit number. She did not know how to use the code. I have been waited to get the answer for more than an hour to get the call for the specific instruction from them. They have been kept said the instruction for check-in, but it did not help at all for me. I was not aware of the instruction as the first time because I have to go back of the patio of the room to find unlock the key box. Without knowing the building area, it would be not easy to find the specific place of the Key Box. I waited more than an hour & 45min to get in to the room since I arrived at the property, and the two agents keep asked me to read instruction but it was not easy to understand from the parking place because all access was securely locked. The MAIN Problem was I have to talk to building security not hotel staffs. It is a good facility to stay in LA area with good price but it could be not a good check-in service as the first timer.
