The hotel charged us an additional 21$ per person USD to help even out the wages for the workers there. They advertise that it is a close walk to Universal Studios - which it is not. No view and the street it is located on is dirty. Noise travels through the floors so we heard kids stomping all night and can hear voices travelling up and down the hallways

The property was nice from afar. None of the outlets in our rooms worked except for the one closest to the window where there was no mirror. There was no shampoo but there were 3 bottles of conditioner in the shower, the walls were quite thin. We could hear our neighbors talking, laughing, sneezing, and their cell phone notifications. The bed was quite soft and we could definitely feel a divet in the middle of the bed. The shower was great though! It was conveniently located near Universal but if you're not a walker that hill will tire you out before your day even starts.

It was passable for an overnight stay. It is lacking in amenities for anything longer than that. Hotel was under renovations at the time of stay, so amenities which were advertised for the booked room were not available. Staff was prompt to address the concerns, however it should not be additional to charge for parking given the limited space and the unsafe area the hotel is located in. For what is being charged, it should be included with your stay.

I had a pretty good stay at this hotel. The rooms were basic but comfortable, which was nice. However, I was a bit surprised by the extra cleaning fee, as I thought that would be included in the stay. Also, there was a parking fee that wasn't mentioned when I booked, which was a bit of a letdown. Overall, it was a decent experience, but those extra charges were a bit of a bummer.

It was clean on inside and parking area. Room was big but was noisy by street sounds. You can see they tried to upgrade tile in bathroom but needs a bit better work. A bit water damage under sink. Black mold in bathroom made my grandkids sick not hot water in sink and shower. Feet all black from dirty floors. Back sliding door had no lock for intruders only stick on bottom. Lights on all night in parking garage and blinds didn’t close tight for refund. Horrible two nights. Lots of homeless on street outside harassing us when we walked to and from hotel and poop piles on street by hotel. Unreal. And not close to universal like it says. 10 minute walk to shuttle that comes every 20 minutes. Requested compensation for mold and no hot water etc and said 3rd party booking had to contact you. Thanks expecting to be compensated for such an awful situation not as described on their website
