Unit is ideally perched so you can enjoy the full unobstructed views of the beach, ocean, sunsets and all the beautiful people strolling on the famous Hermosa Beach Strand while at the dinner table.

The unit is on the bottom floor so you don’t have to climb flights of stairs to go in and out of your unit. You have an intimate feeling of the atmosphere and pulse of the neighborhood right outside of your door. When the surf is up, you can feel vibrations when the waves crash down outside.

There are two public use volleyball courts directly in front of the unit where Olympic and professional volleyball players routinely train in the early mornings.

Fabulous
Our stay was fabulous! Pictures are exactly what you get. The place was perfect my my 3 kids and I. The location is prime! Not real busy but super close to pier and restaurants. The view from the living room never got old. The owner was extremely helpful if we needed anything. The sunsets were amazing. We look forward to going again next summer!

Wonderful location with view of the surf
The owner was easy to communicate with and the place had all the essentials for an extended stay. The view of the ocean and beach were spectacular. I particularly liked the living room setup with the giant TV, gas fireplace and white water views from the living room and couch. From the patio outside you can sit on the strand and watch the people go by. The location couldn't be better, walking distance to many restaurants and an Italian deli market and coffee shop just around the corner. The parking was also convenient. I extended my stay. You won't want to leave.

Fabulous view with everything you need
Amazing view of the ocean/beach without any obstruction and right on the beach path. Easy walk to many restaurants/stores. The beautiful condo has everything…wonderfully stocked kitchen, multiple beds & bedding/blankets, nice bathrooms, cozy fireplace, plus a washer/dryer. Covered parking is included. The landlord is extremely responsive for any issue… even replaced the microwave, etc. Would definitely stay again.

Location Can't Be Beat
This property was perfect for having guests and being on your own. You can walk to everything you need including the Redondo, Manhattan Beach and of course the Hermosa Beach Piers. My host Jim couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating and that truly made a difference. A month wasn't long enough!

Fabulous location!
We enjoyed our time in this perfectly located condo. We loved watching the volleyball players and crowds on the Strand each day through the living room windows, and the access to the beach cannot be beat! It was also great to be within walking distance of so many little cafes and restaurants. We highly recommend this place!

Right on the beach!
Tons of reviews already tell you this is a great rental. I agree. Jim is a very dedicated host who truly cares. The pictures are all accurate and living here for a month was like a dream come true. The only thing to understand, if you can afford a month here, is that it isn’t going to be like YOUR house at home. It’s not a large luxury home with every amenity. It’s a regular, decent 2 bedroom apt with slightly dated but acceptable furniture/decor (like a divorced dad from the 80’s- black leather couch, metal chairs and lots of mirrors ). BUT WHO CARES- it overlooks one of the most PERFECT BEAUTIFUL FUN AMAZING beaches on the planet (for a 30 day visit :) If you need this perfect a SPOT AND LUXURY, it will cost you more than double. Also HUGE THANKS TO JIM for letting us bring 2 well trained adorable mini-labradoodles. A tiny bit hard to find good, close bathrooms for them, but SOOOO worth it. And while walking a few blocks down the Strand to find a patch of grass 3-4 times a day wouldn’t work year round, it was doable and worth it for a month. My primary goal here is to give this place a VERY HIGH RATING! I’ve never spent even 1/3 this much for a 1 month Airbnb and still it was TOTALLY worth it. Even the neighbors in the building were very cool and lent me bicycles for the whole month. Despite the obvious gentrification, it retains an old Hermosa Beach vibe and the direct access to beach, Strand and thousands of people streaming by every day make it a special place.

Awesome spot!
My family and I loved staying at this beach condo. It had everything we needed and more, even surf and boogie boards! It comfortably accommodated our family of 5. My kids loved having the beach as their front yard. It was a very quiet spot even though there was lots of beach activity at times. Street parking was never really an issue (although it’s probably tougher during summer) and the parking pass did come in handy. The owner was very kind and accommodating, but gave us our privacy as well. Restaurants were a quick walk away and there’s a little corner store/deli literally around the corner. You seriously don’t need to leave the neighborhood if you don’t want to. It was a great experience and I really hope we get the opportunity to stay here again!

Absolutely perfect & delightful
The property was much more than as advertised, amazingly well provisioned for any beach or beachside activity. My family and I very much enjoyed every aspect of our time there. The owner was extremely attentive and responsive, quite intent upon making sure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible.

Location, Location, Location!!!
Our stay here was very enjoyable and relaxing. Jim was a great host and responded quickly to all my questions via phone and text. All supplies and amenities were included so all you really needed to do is show up! Appliances were new and up to date. Washer and dryer are also included. There is a tandem parking space underneath the unit plus a parking pass for free metered parking. I would highly recommend this unit for your next family vacation.

Great Beach house that comes with everything!
So I decided to rent this house for my family of 6 for Spring Break and it worked out great. It was my 4 kids and my wife and I along with 2 dogs and we all fit in this home comfortably. The home couldn't be in a better location and the photos doesn't do it justice until you are here. We read what the house came with but couldn't really believe it until we got there. This house basically came with everything a hotel would have and more. They had weeks worth of towels available, extra sheets, blankets, kids toys, water toys for the beach, beach chairs, beach balls, boogie boards, surf board and umbrellas. The kitchen came with all eating utensils and cookware along with all kinds of condiments available. And if you were missing something or needed something, there's a little market right next door literally about 25 steps away. Overall we had a great experience and our family had a great time. The kids were entertained by the beach and beach activities and were also entertained in the home as well from the movies, video games, and board games the home came with. We are definitely coming back here again!

Great location, all the amenities of home
You can't get any closer to the beach and not get sandy in this place. It sleeps 6, and has a nice layout for entertaining. The owner actually installed USB outlets int he kitchen, so super easy to charge all the electronics. It's about a 5 minute walk to Hermosa or Redondo pier, so really easy to find stuff to do without the hassle of parking.

Great experience!
Had a really nice stay at the house. It's right on the strand, and walking distance to either Redondo pier, or Hermosa pier. The house is comfortable stocked, wifi worked great (important for kids) and it had everything one could ask for. I look forward to a return visit!

Wonderful stay right on the Strand for the whole family and my two dogs. The description was accurate and all the amenities were as advertised. The property was clean and well maintained. Beautiful ocean view with the sand only a few steps from the front door. We had the beach practically all to ourselves. Excellent customer service.

Awesome amenities
I have never stayed in a condo that offered so many amenities! They supplied Tide, Downey, dish soap, coffee, hand soap, shampoo, all paper products, cleaning wipes, etc. Too many to list. We only had to buy food. Our wifi was not working properly the first day and the owner was right on top of it. His wife even gave us a list of ideas of things to do and see while visiting. The locals are so nice and customer service in Cali is top notch. The beach is super clean and getting to the pier is a nice short walk to eat, enjoy the waves, rent bikes, etc. We were travelling with our sons who are 18 and 13 and they were never bored. We had a great time in Hermosa beach. One thing I really enjoy in the condos we rent, is a book that guests write in to give suggestions on what they liked to do while in the area. Maybe you can set one out? That would just be the icing on the cake!

A memorable birthday weekend!
We came to relax and celebrate at the beach with a few family and friends. During our stay in March, we experienced the best of both worlds with the weather. The weekend alternated between rain in the evening and waking up to clear blue skies. The Strand is a peaceful place with the ocean in walking distance, and picturesque sunsets. Jim was accommodating; he provided a thorough tour and has the place fully stocked with cooking utensils, towels and advanced technology systems. No need to rent movies or go out with Netflix, video games and music at your fingertips. A built in fire place, robes, food and tons of laughter created an enjoyable ambiance of a true vacation. We enjoyed playing volleyball against each other and watching the sunsets. We took a ten minute walk on Monday morning and ate brunch at Hermosa Beach Pier. The place felt like home after only a few days! We would highly recommend this place for families and friends to fill the soul with new energy. Thanks again Jim for our stay!

Great Location, Great Amenities
My name is Andrew. My wife and I (34 and 35) rented this place last week. Weather was great and we had everything we needed for the trip, from beach chairs, plenty of closet space, additional air mattress, coat hangers, kitchen appliances, etc., paper towels, toilet paper, tons of towels, etc., provided with the home. We never had to leave once we had arrived. It's a very nicely set up place with plenty of space for 4 people and perhaps some kids. It was great because it was also dog friendly. The owner, Jim, was always available for questions and was very accommodating to our requests and schedules. We got our full deposit back in a very timely fashion. I have zero complaints and was 100% satisfied. The whole south bay is, I believe, one of the best places to go for vacation (and we'll been to Hawaii, Mexico, lots of places in SoCal, etc.) and this is our favorite place and this strand rental is likely one of the most ideal places to stay in this area. Highly recommended.

My family and I stayed for 10 days and had a fabulous time! The weather was unusually hot (which was great for us!), and sunny every day! Staying right on the Strand is the best spot - you're right on the beach! Being on the Strand is great because you can walk to the Pier (15 min. walk) to all the shops and restaurants. It's an amazing spot! There were 5 of us staying, and it worked out fine. Not all 5 were there the entire time, but it would have been fine if they were. I do wish the master bedroom had a shower, but we made it work with the one shower/bath. The condo was equipped with plenty of bath towels, beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, games, and even supplied a volley ball! We became very good at beach volleyball! We used the binoculars that were in the condo to watch gray whales, dolphins, and seals as they swam past our condo! A treat I will never forget! I will definitely stay here again!

Sooooo close to the beach.
Eigentlich ist Manhattan Beach unsere erste Wahl wenn es um einen Kalifornien Urlaub geht, aber Hermosa Beach fanden wir auch sehr schön. Mit dem Fahrrad sind es nur 10-15 min bis Manhattan Beach und das immer am Strand entlang. Der Aufenthalt in diesem Apartment war so schön wie lange nicht. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier Wohnen, und die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es gibt kaum eine Apartment die so nahe am Strand ist. Es gibt schöne Restaurants in der Nähe und es ist ganz nah an Rodondo Beach Actually, Manhattan Beach, our first choice when it comes to a California vacation, but Hermosa Beach, we also found very nice. By bike it is only 10-15 minutes to Manhattan Beach and all along the beach. The stay in this apartment was so nice as not last long. We would not hesitate to stay here again living, and the owners are very nice and helpful. There is hardly any apartment which is so close to the beach. Absolutely , Fantastic, Place
We absolutely loved our stay . From the owner Jim meeting us at the unit upon check in and showing us the place , to the gorgeous fully stocked modern unit , we had a fantastic stay . The beds were super comfortable , plenty of beach chairs, cooler, beach toys and lots of towels . we were a party of 5, 2 children 4 and 6 and three girls in their twenties, forties and eighties . We absolutely loved opening the front door and smelling the ocean air , eating breakfast watching the volleyball players , cycling the boardwalk , night kite flying . The only thing that we didn't love about our stay , was having to leave:( But we already are planning our return stay and we cant wait . Thanks again Jim for some wonderful memories and cant wait to come back .

California Beach vacation
Party of 4 arrived for a wedding on the beach and found the accommodations to be just super. The owner met us upon arrival and showed us around the place. Everything a vacationer could want was provided including beach towels, chairs, WiFi, super TVs and a well stocked kitchen to name just a few. Being on the beach and watching volleyball games as well as beautiful sunsets was wonderful. We would recommend this property to friends and family and are thinking of when we can return to beautiful Hermosa Beach and this super rental property.

A Perfect Beach Place
We rented the unit for a weekend work retreat. It was great! Clean, well-stocked, comfortable beds, and a perfect beachfront location. Everything you need is walking distance away...and the sunset each night was picture perfect.....we will be back!

Location can't be beat.
Fabulous condo. Perfect for 2 couples or a family with up to three children. If you have a car bigger than a compact I would definately recommend the street permit for parking.
