Considerable information was provided on arrival, however much was forgotten due to fatigue, this meant frequently contacting the hosts to query matters and obtain additional information (many questions via email had been asked due to the language barrier). "Before booking this villa I asked the size of the pool. I was told, in writing, that it was 8m x 4m. It is actually 6.25m x 3.5m. It also has the shallowest shallow end I’ve ever come across, 0.7m. Too shallow to swim over and covering approximately 2 m then sloping to the deep end. This left me with about 3 x 3m to swim in. As a keen swimmer, had I been told this prior to booking I’d have not booked this villa. According to the description on VRBO there is a drive with space to park two cars....

"We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Hermosa. Host was very accommodating and went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. The villa is set in a very peaceful location, surrounded by distant mountains, is fully equipped and very close to the Spa. If the timing allows, visit the market in Fortuna, on Saturday, to get a choice of fresh produce. There’s also a supermarket near the Market for additional items. Spa is great and well worth taking advantage. We will definitely be coming...

"One of the best villa's we stayed in, the accommodation was spacious, well furnished and had a lot of kitchen items you usually don't find. The outside space was very well thought through, especially the shaded areas to move the sun loungers when it became too hot. Would have loved to have stayed longer. The local spar was fine for most of our needs, there is one local restaurant which was ok, but more further afield in the next door golf resort (Atalona) and in Murcia (15 mins drive...

"Beautifull Building with good outdoor kitchen and large swimming pool. Very spacious and good bedroom. Downpoints: * only toilets in the badrooms * There was nog big coffeemachine (for a group of 18 that is a problem). There used to be one but apperently it was broken and not replaced. * Only one basic towel per person is basic for a 5 day stay. A big + small one would have been nices. Overall a good stay and nice area with lot of things to do (by car). Good bakery and lot of supermarkets...

"The accommodation meets all expectations. The villa is amazing, much better than what appears in the photos. It is a very large villa space, with all kinds of amenities. The pool is a joy and perfect size. The barbecue area is very well equipped. The house is fully equipped. You feel at home at all times. The host of the villa is very friendly and ensures that his guest enjoys the best possible stay. We were 7 people and we all left very happy. We will return without a doubt!"

"The villa had everything you'd need for a relaxing break. Lesley and Warren were on hand if you needed anything and gave good advice for eating out,shopping and sightseeing. Fantastic pool and well kept property. Definitely need a car, as to eat out , shopping and sightseeing are a short drive away, but we mainly prepared our own food at the villa. We all had a lovely family holiday."
