"We stayed for one night at Tallowood on the way to pick up our new pup, jack russell terrier, Celeste! We had our Great Dane with us. To say that we enjoyed Tallowood would be a massive understatement! The place had everything we could ask for and more! The beach was literally across the road and dog friendly! We will be returning for sure!! Cannot recommend Tallowood highly enough!!"

Everything about the cottage is so considered, from the huge comfy bed, to the picturesque windows, and the convenience of a well-appointed kitchen. the cottage was private and comfortable, but we loved having the opportunity to bring our young daughter down to the homestead to meet the pony and feed the chickens - a great experience that added to our stay. "The Cob House is a true escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, an exemplary example of just how little we need to be happy. The host and all the animals about were incredibly welcoming. Couldn't have asked for a better break from work, the close small towns offer charm and welcoming locals and if you are up for chasing waterfalls, there are so many in driving distance though some might require a decent trek. 100% recommend! "We had a beautiful week surrounded by gorgeous countryside and mountains. The house was very comfortable for our family of 5 with the bonus of a clean beautiful pool to swim in. The hosts were very friendly with our children showing them how to feed a calf and collect chicken eggs. They were great hosts"
