Lovely 5* Provençal villa with heated pool and full air conditioning

Les Pignes Est is a spacious (193m2) 4 bedroomed villa with 3 bathrooms and a heated infinity pool and is ideally situated on the Chemin du Train des Pignes Est on the outskirts of the market town of Lorgues in the heart of Provence. Just one hour from Nice and a little further from Marseille, Lorgues is situated half way between the Mediterranean and the Gorges du Verdon. A weekly Provençal market is a draw for all and there is an additional farmers' market every Friday.
Of the four bedrooms one double (160x200cm bed) is situated on the ground floor with a shower room including wc next to it. A further 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms are to be found on the first floor one double (160x200cm bed) and two twins (2 90x190cm beds in each).
The very large open plan living area with fully fitted kitchen and delightful log burner for winter evenings leads to a beautiful south-facing terrace with gas barbecue, comfortable seating for 8 people and views over the Provençal countryside and the Ermitage de St Férreol.
The typically Provençal terraced garden with pretty, thoughtful Mediterranean planting leads to the 10x5m heated infinity swimming pool with electrically operated safety cover and sun terrace with loungers and parasols. A pool house offers shade for children in the height of the day.
The villa is situated on the Chemin du Train des Pignes Est - a former railway track and now part of the EuroVelo 8 cycle track which offers lovely walks and cycling for all.

Excellent property, very well appointed and in good position for Lorgues town. Good facilities in Kitchen and barbecue area, and lovely terrace and pool. We regularly stay in the Lorgues area and this is one of the best villas we have been to.

Perfect Stay
Our stay at the villa was truly wonderful. Spacious, comfortable and extremely well equipped. So relaxing with the wonderful views and surroundings. The lovely town of Lorgues is close by with a huge weekly market on Tuesdays. Thank you Judith for all your help and being so accommodating with our delayed flight. We will definitely be back.

A happy holiday!
The house was comfortable and well maintained. The air conditioning was wonderful during the hot weather and to have it all over the house was a huge bonus. The beds were comfortable and it was great to have three showers for the evenings when we’d finished at the pools and were getting ready for dinner.

Beautiful villa!
7 of us have just had 2wks at this beautiful villa Spotless when we arrived and Judith was really helpful with answers to our questions and suggestions of places to go The pictures are lovely but don’t do it justice Well equipped and the air conditioning worked really well as the temperature got in to the 40’s Super comfy beds and bed linen, bath towels and pool towels provided Would definitely return and recommend Simon

Delightful property with a blissful pool
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Les Pignes. Lorgues is a pleasant town with just enough restaurants and shops and is close to many beautiful parts of Haute Provence. The house is spacious with a well-equipped kitchen, good beds and bathrooms. The pool is just big enough and, as it can be heated, it made swimming in early May a joy. One word of caution: the steps down to the pool area are rather uneven and might be tricky for someone with mobility issues. Judith, the host, was marvelous and responded instantly to any request or query with cheerful good humour. A definite recommend.

Härligt hus och bra bemötande.
Läget i Lorgues är perfekt, precis utanför stadskärnan med naturen utanför dörren. Huset och tomten överträffade verkligen förväntningarna och vi stortrivdes under våra två veckor. Incheckningen var enkel och smidigt och när vi fick problem med dörren såg fixade Judith det direkt. Den enda nackdelen var att poolen inte gick att använda som planerat pga kallt väder. I övrigt är vi mycket nöjda med bemötande, service och hus.

Beautiful retreat
The property was as described..very roomy with a number of places to gather. Particularly appreciated was the pool where we relaxed at the end of each day’s outing. The weather was superb and that added to our experience.

A fantastic place
We had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful house. Plenty of space for 2 families to stay with 4 children between us, an amazing pool and great outdoor space. The house is just a short drive into the beautiful town of Lorgues which has everything you need, plus you're surrounded by vineyards & stunning countryside, a great combination. The coast is about an hour drive & the Gorge du Verdun a similar distance so a good base to explore from. We loved our stay & wouldn't hesitate to recommend the house to anyone. It would be lovely to return.

Relaxing and quiet French house
A lovely house! Overall we are very pleased with the cleanliness, the standard of the house, the pool-area, the well equipted kitchen and the comfort of the beds. A 20 minute walk to the city centre. Lovely markeds in the morning. So cozy. For dinner, you have to try Bistrot Chez Ludo! We ate there twice, and everything was always very good. Would definitely come back. Thank you Judith, for your hospitality, good communication, and that you always reply so quiclkly.

Amazing
I loved this. Three things stand out for me. The outside space is fantastic. Huge terrace, lovely separate pool area, and a boules court. Inside is big, spacious, luxurious. With a well stocked kitchen - I usually bring my own knives as places rarely have knives that work, but this place had everything I wanted and needed to cook. And the town is a pleasant 20 minute stroll, with lovely little bars and restaurants - perfect for a late morning aperitif, or an evening dinner. I will definitely go back.

A wonderful stay in an amazing place
The house is absolutely everything you could want from a holiday. The main rooms are inclusive, stylish and relaxing. The bedrooms want for nothing - comfortable beds, cosy furnishings, wardrobes aplenty. And the bathrooms are numerous. To top it off, the terrace is an absolutely perfect place to sit and take in the breathtaking scenery, and watch the sunset. I defy you not to be enchanted.
