"This is a great B&B, really well appointed old french farmhouse. We stayed in the smaller room which had a great shower, was quiet and warm. My only small issue is that I would have preferred a bigger bed. Breakfast was great and had a lot of choices. The lady who runs the place looked after us and was very welcoming. "

"I had a delightful stay at this B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in this region. The room was pretty, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was top notch as was the service. "We spent two nights in Clos de Chavigny. We had one experience with the owners which coloured the rest of our time in a deeply disappoiting and unacceptable fashion. We decided to pay to "rent" the kitchen area in order that we could have dinner on the premises (as rules are very strict on food in the rooms). An extra 20€ (on top of over 145€ per night with continental breakfast) allows you the access to a fridge, a kettle and a sink, plus glasses and cutlery but no actual cooking ability. It...

"Nothing like the pictures when we booked. Very shabby accommodation. One indoor very crowded pool and No facilities on site, you have to go int Saumur which is a lovely city. You have to pay extra for bedding . Beds uncomfortable and furniture all very old. Definitely not worth the money. "
