Quiet 3 Acres On DNR Fishing Lake With 200' Of Shoreline Just Outside Longville

Quiet 3 acres on DNR fishing lake with 200' of shoreline with dock just outside Longville. Large open lawn as well as wooded area. Cabin has 1 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen and appliances, concrete patio. Better for 2 but there is a hide-a-bed so it can sleep up to 4. Good fishing lake for Panfish, Northern, and Large Mouth Bass with many other fishing and recreational lakes nearby, including Woman Lake about 2 miles away and Leech Lake about 10 miles away. Canoe and paddle boat included along with life jackets and paddles. Northern Lights Casino in Walker is about a 20 minute drive. Firewood and charcoal supplied. Cleaning and taxes are included in the price. Pets are ok but we do add a $20 fee for the extra cleaning time involved.

Please know that there was a winterkill of fish in the lake in the winter of 2022-2023. Quite a few Northern pike survived and Perch, Largemouth, and Bluegill minnows are starting to appear. The minnows should be 4 to 7 inches by the end of the year. Hopefully in 1 or 2 years the fishing will be back to normal.

Beautiful!
We had another wonderful stay at this rental. We went out on the paddle boat almost every day. We got to watch a loon and we listened to the barred owls. The cabin is super well stocked. We had everything we needed. The grocery store is very close. We also picked up a pizza one night from a nearby restaurant. It was wonderful to get away from the cities and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Real Minnesota feel with no resort price.
Very quiet and secluded little place. We had the lake to ourselves the entire stay, never saw another person on the lake. Kids caught 6-8 inch pan fish all week long with no problems. Family came over from another big resort and spent more time at our cabin then theirs. Cabin has a everything you need and more. Longville is a couple miles away and easy to access. Highly recommend this property.

It looks just like the photos. The large yard is beautifully maintained.The cabin contained everything we could have needed including kitchen, bathroom, and personal supplies, everything for the patio and grill. The owners thought of everything!

This is our third time renting from Rick. This visit was just for my husband and it was just as good as the other two visits! Communication with Rick has been the best with before questions etc and info to check in etc. Excellent location, private and house has everything you need for great trip, perfect set up! This was in a great location, close to town. We really enjoyed staying in this private oasis. We enjoyed how thorough Rick was before check-in and during our stay. The cabin was filled with resources on how utilities work, use of outdoor equipment, and household items to use (towels, extra blankets/pillows, washer/dryer). Everything worked as it should have, and the directions were easily understandable. Our dog also loved the freedom to run around in the yard which is far enough from the road for safety. Quick/Easy check- in. Just show up and enjoy. Clean up when you leave. We will definitely be staying again, looking to get fishing on the ice!

A restful retreat
A quiet and comfortable cabin on lakefront was the perfect Fall mini vacation. The weather was incredibly warm so we were happy to get out on the water in both the available canoe and paddle boat. The cabin contained all necessities and we enjoyed the down home atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Another wonderful stay
Our 5th stay at this cabin we had a peaceful getaway. Loved the wild flowers and butterflies in the yard. Watched a mother robin feeding her babies in a nest on top of the window air conditioner. Our favorite home away.
