While we checked in after hours management was available by house phone at the entrance and gave us instructions for getting the cabin key as well as a nice map to the cabin. He also recommended a nice restaurant in the city center.

This place is a must if you are spending time in Longreach. Our family of four stayed in a Slab Hut which was extremely clean, very comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The whole place had a really nice feel and the hosts were so friendly and inviting. Could not fault this place and will be visiting in the future.

Excellent stay, a little way out of town but the shuttle service was good. Ron and Wendy were excellent host. The cabin was spacious and clen. Just a 5 minute walk to Qantas museum, and Australian Stockmans Hall of fame.
