"Waratah is a beautifully renovated historic building located on one the hills in Launceston. The room was large and well apponted. The bathroom is new and spotless. The bed is very comfortable. They do not serve any food so come prepared. There are a number of good cafes and restaurants, however, you need to drive or get an Uber/taxl. Yhe hill is too steep for a comfortable walk. There are numerous steps between the car pak and the front door."

"This was a friendly, cozy hotel with great staff and a congenial atmosphere. The food at breakfast was great, as was the environment. The rooms were entirely adequate, though you won't call them luxurious. Overall, it was a great stay with a uniquely warm vibe."

"A lovely charming quaint "heritage" room. New, clean & large bathroom. Great location & easy parking. Lovely doors to garden. Bed looked old but was very comfortable. But would recommend repacing carpet!"

"We stayed at the property over Christmas, upon arrival we were delighted to find out that the place had been nicely decorated for Christmas. The property is as nice as it looks on the picture. Sauna was the main hit for us but we also used jacuzzi and had some marshmallows at the bonfire.By far it was the nicest place we stayed in, while in Tasmania."
