"We have been 'Chateau' travelers for 42 years. I cannot count the number of establishments visited. Ch Goujonnerie is 'THE' most charming Chateau we have had the priviledge to stay. It was exceptionally difficult to say goodbye after 5 nights. Isabella, Natalie AND Stephen and Michel were the most charming hosts. We will never forget their care to guests. We look forward to returning again and is a great place for a base camp if you want to visit La Rochell or Il de Re or so many other places along the sea and throughout Vendee. They also offer Gites that some may prefer."

The house, the pool, the area was perfect for our family and we enjoyed lazy days by the pool, BBQs and trips out to La Rochelle, Marais Poitevin and La Tranche Sur mer which were all within half an hour. Nathalie and Luc were great hosts, giving us all the information we needed aswell as some great recommendations for the local area. We won't hesitate to recommend or revisit."

"My family had a wonderful stay. The gite is thoughtfully designed and very well equipped. The furnishings are up-to-date and everything works well. The beds are comfortable. The swimming pool and hot tub are delightful. The garden is charming and we enjoyed playing badminton. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and gave us a lot of helpful information. The location is excellent for an outdoor holiday with plenty of boating and walking opportunities nearby. We had a day at the beach (it took about 1h20m to drive there). Highly recommended."
