All units feature a full-size kitchen or kitchenette with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, and private patio or balcony (2 bdrms only). Whether you are traveling as a family, honeymooners, on business, or just want a resort with the best accommodations Longboat Key has to offer, this is the resort for you.



Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of The Beach on Longboat Key #224 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.



Accommodations: The Beach on Longboat Key is a relaxing, yet modern retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico, located mid-island on Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including studio, hotel, one- and two-bedroom units. The Beach at Longboat
Truly enjoyed our stay at "The Beach" in Longboat Key. Terrific access to pool and beach. Great community access of bike lanes, grocery, Rx and restaurants. Will definitely consider coming back to this location.

Great Little Place
Great location along the beach and Gulf of Mexico Drive, convenient to St. Armand Circle, Publix and a short drive to Anna Maria Island. Clean little unit. No elevator to second floor but was not a problem for us. Great access to the beach and beautiful view of sunrises / sunsets.

Great Location near Sarasota airport but quiet and relaxing!
The Beach condo complex was small, quiet, and relaxing with wonderfully close beach access and a great view out the 2nd floor porch window. The complex was a little older but well maintained. The only surprise was that the washer and dryer was only one for the complex of 10-12 units and was centrally located on property like a laundry mat.

Unbeatable Views
Can't get a better view and beach for the price anywhere on Longboat Key!! Everything you need is within 10 mins and the sunsets are amazing!! More than likely, you'll see dolphins everyday from your balcony!!

Beach vacation
We have stayed at The Beach many times and will return. The unit was clean and well stocked. I do like that there is no daily housekeeping now, we did not run out of anything in our week stay. The walkways and stairs however were very dirty, the step treads were black. The north stairwell had a sort of dirty odor too. Looked like the facility just needed a little TLC on the exterior. Amazing stay though and will be back again. Also, will refer others to The Beach.

The perfect honeymoon
My husband and I wanted a lowkey, beach honeymoon. I've never been to this part of Florida, but WOW! So beautiful, clean, and plenty to do. Our air B&B had the most perfect beach access, quite and clean. They even had umbrellas, and chairs for us to use as we please. Just a short 20 minute drive to the downtown area, with tons of fantastic restaurants. We will absolutely be back! 10/10 Recommend!
