—Beach Castle Unit 6 is a 2nd floor, 2-bedroom 2-bathroom unit on the Gulf of Mexico/beach side of the Beach Castle Resort on Longboat Key. It has water views from your private patio -- perfect for a morning cup of coffee or cold drink to take in the amazing sunsets and sounds of the waves.
—The Beach Castle Resort is a quaint slice of “Old Florida” and remains one of the few condos on Longboat Key that extends from the Gulf of Mexico to the Sarasota Bay. Guests are able to enjoy the benefits of both bodies of water! Launch your kayak from the newly constructed pier, throw in a line for some great fishing in the bay (there are 2 fishing poles available to use in the unit) or, just a few steps from your door, lay on beach with access to complementary beach chairs and umbrellas. The sunsets over the Gulf are not to be missed, we promise! Additionally, guests have access to the community pool and hot tub.
—The secluded hideaway resort is wonderfully maintained and incredibly quiet and peaceful. The beaches on Longboat Key are just a few miles north of Siesta Key, consistently rated the top beach in the country. With the same water and sands as Siesta Key, Longboat Key is much less crowded, truly feeling like your own private slice of paradise. One of our absolute favorite things to do while here is sitting out on the beach after dark and stargazing! This quiet retreat offers a great escape from it all -- a chance to recharge your batteries, reconnect with loved ones and make new memories.
—Your unit is wonderfully located on the northern part of Longboat Key, a very short walk to great restaurants, cafés and an ice cream shop. Bicycle rentals are also available to further explore everything the island has to offer. St Armands Circle is less than 9 miles to the south and is an exciting hub of waterfront locations, fine dining and shopping.
—The home is furnished with a king sized bed in the primary bedroom, two full sized beds in the second bedroom and a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room.
—Inside the kitchen, you'll find all the silverware, pots, pans and plates you need to cook yourself dinner and a blender to enjoy a frozen drink on the patio while you listen to the waves crashing.
—The living room is equipped with a 58in 4K Roku smart TV and there's a 55in smart TV in the primary bedroom - BYOL (bring your own logins). The second bedroom has a 50in Roku smart TV as well.
—In terms of amenities, you'll have access to important things like: A Keurig, an iron, blow dryer, towels, soap, napkins, paper towels, cleaning supplies and more.
—Parking: All guests have use of 1 assigned parking spot during their stay. Additional parking available on a first-come, first-served basis off-premises. We kindly ask guests to plan accordingly.
—Pets: Pets are not permitted on Beach Castle property.
—Please Note: This is a self service resort and we do not provide housekeeping services. For your convenience, we do provide an amenity kit to assist you upon your arrival. Any essentials required thereafter (such as toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc) can be purchased at Publix nearby and items can also be ordered for delivery.
A confirmation email will be sent with all the details needed for your stay. You will be provided with a code for the smart lock which will activate at the time of your check-in
If you're traveling with an infant or toddler, we can provide certain items upon request for a small delivery and cleaning fee including:
- Pack N Play with mattress and sheets
- Booster seat
- Fisher-Price Portable Dome and Travel-Play Area (great for beach use)
Please Note: Our cancellation policy is firm, and environmental factors beyond our control (such as hurricanes, red tide, snowstorms, etc.) will not be grounds for refunds. If you’re concerned about possible disruptions, we strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance. For additional flexibility, you may want to explore ‘Cancel for Any Reason’ (CFAR) coverage, which allows cancellations for a broader range of reasons. Thank you for your understanding!
LIABILITY WAIVER: Our property provides you with a unique opportunity to swim, fish, enjoy the beach, dock and pool. We want you to take advantage of these amenities and have a memorable visit. However, by agreeing to our Airbnb House Rules, you acknowledge that there are inherent risks involved with participating in these activities and they may present dangers for adults and children. Children must be carefully supervised at all times when near the water. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach or pool. The water at the dock is shallow, no diving off the dock is allowed. By agreeing to the House Rules, you acknowledge the potential risks discussed above, agree to accept full responsibility for any bodily injury that may occur to you and others in your party, and waive any claim whatsoever against the owners for accidents or claims arising from these activities.
