Great Thanksgiving gateway
This house had everything I was looking for when booking our stay. Lakefront property, game room with the pool table and a projector, hot tub, sauna and 2 fireplaces. I wish the house was cleaner and better maintained but we absolutely loved every minute of it. The maintenance man came when we needed help and owner also showed up to make sure we had everything we needed. You are about 10 min from Kalahari, major stores and supermarkets, we love the local restaurant “Jubilee” where food is decent and still very affordable. This place has so much potential. All you need is a little more TLC.

Just ok
This place has so much potential but you can tell they are just making money off the location. It is not a five star place. It is run down. The coffee machine didn’t work. Neither did the sauna or the grill.

Solid Stay
Worked great. A few of us getting together for a reunionn. Good stepping off point for things around the poconos. Also good setup to hang in the house have pizza watch sports, hang out in the hot tub or sauna. Very easy check-in process. Certainly not the most upscale option but gets the job done, is clean and welcoming. Likely to come back.

property was as listed, very roomy place to spread out. View from decks excellent. Lovely dock by water., We did have to patch a hole in boat to be sure it was safe., Place was very well stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils etc. Enjoyed our stay. would return again.

The house was as described. Our family was able to spread out thankfully because the weather did not cooperate. Communication was instant and requests made were handled right away. Will be back again!

Great view
The house was more then we expected. It can easily sleep 10, has a hot tub and sauna, a huge entertainment room with a pool table, foosball table, and a wall sized tv screen. The view of the pond is great. The only complaint is that some of the appliances are less then pristine. We were unable to get either of the gas grills to work. But we still really enjoyed ourselves.

Great little getaway!
We had a great family getaway for a few days at this property. We were surprised at how big this house/property was. We didn’t need all the space as a family of four, but it had all the amenities that we desired, such as hot tub, sauna, pool table, on the lake, kayaks,… I read all the reviews and they are accurate. This is a great place but could definitely be amazing with a little TLC. The beds are comfortable, the game room lights don’t work properly, but we made the best of it. The hot tub seemed a little dirty (slimey). I wish there were directions (and chemicals) on how it should be cleaned and we would have gladly done it. I did bring some of my own cleaning supplies and I scrubbed the kitchen cabinets (on a rainy day) because they were very greasy/sticky. Overall, if you can get passed some broken furniture outside and focus on the view, you will love your stay. Thank you!

A nice vacation home on the lake
The stay was very nice! The home is spacious and the location can't be beat. The view is beautiful. It's a great relaxing vacation spot. The linens are included and very comfortable and clean. The downstairs sauna is wonderful and a great location nearthe hot tub. It was a very nice stay for a small group of friends. With that said, the house is not terribly well maintained. There are holes in the drywall and no heat in the bottom two connected bedrooms (there is a loud radiator put in one room). The fans were extremely dirty, the basement shower was not cleaned and had a puddle of dry bodywash stuck to the floor. The dryer does not shut off on its own and you cannot turn it off with controls (we had to leave it open to keep it off). I did message the host early on to ask about a bed size, but I never got response. I do recommend this location for a group gathering. There's lots of space and lots to do.

The space and location on the lake are amazing. Could use a little TLC around the property, a book with instructions on things, and a little more stocked with some basics considering what the nightly price comes to. That said great place for a couple of families and would do it again.

Perfect city escape
This place is amazing. Only spent 2 nights but enjoyed everything the house has to offer. Great view of the lake right from the hot tub. peaceful setting, nice water view, close to just about everything poconos has to offer.

A lovely property for our family vacation
Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. The listing was 100% accurate with regards to the numerous amenities. We were quite pleased! A bit of a hiccup at check-in, as the cleaning crew was running late & we were not permitted to check-in for an hour & a half. Once we entered the home, we found it not thoroughly cleaned- many surfaces were still quite dirty. We also did not have good communication with the host before & during our stay, which was disappointing. Otherwise, a lovely home with lots to do in the area!

Lots to do!
We chose this property for a getaway for 2 families with children, and we loved the location on the lake and access to kayaks and rowboat so our teen boys could get out and fish as much as they wanted. They house provided PLENTY of space for the kids and adults to spread out, both inside and out. The reason we didn't rate it 5 stars was because there were a number items that were old/damaged that should be replaced, such as the very stained couch in the Pocono room, and broken chairs/chiminea outside that kind of junked up the look and made it less appealing-looking. Also, there was an odor out by the hot tub that made it unpleasant to sit out there, though the hot tub itself looked very clean.

Great location! Owner was responsive to us immediately. Beautiful views!
We enjoyed this house for a short week. Our teens and 20’s kids thought the big screen was great. We watched movies into the late night. We had s’mores by the fire, and all day went out on the lake or read on the beach. The only downfall was the cleanliness of the outside grounds and the stickiness inside. I believe they use vinegar to clean or disinfect but tables, counters, nightstands all needed wiped down. We had a clue from the reviews, but like good scouts, we cleaned up ourselves instead of complaining about it all week. Really, the reviews were right on, but the location, amenities, and size of this home trumpt the cleaning issues. We’d come back!

Big house
Let’s start with the positive the house has an amazing game room for teens 13,17and 19 years. The living space is big, kitchen was clean. The hot tub was fantastic. The lake was small but clean. The house could use some up dated and the yard could be cleaner. We did have some issues with air conditioning not working in the bottom two bedrooms. I text owner no reply. The beach area was messed with food wrappers, gloves were in the water, dirty face mask in the grass and old nasty cushions. The boats are made for kids not adults (we had our own so it was fine).We cleaned it up and had a great time. Lots of fish and wildlife. My major issue was on the 4th we were told we could have fireworks from 9 to 11. We Only had colorful ones but security showed up and told us no fireworks allowed. No cleaning supplies available. Overall, we had a great time, the house is spacious. The area is nice not to far and not to close. We would stay there again, just needs to have better upkeep or new clearers for the outside.
