Beaches (public) were amazing, and even if waters became shallow on South beach during tide, swimming was brilliant. "The rooms are really nice and were cleaned really well but we had a very bad mosquito problem in our room where they were coming in under a gap in the door and I had to spend a lot of my time in the room trying to kill them and asking housekeeping to clear up the dead ones afterwards... Despite their 'bite-free bliss' they advertise, the reception staff told us they only spray once a week and that there's no point spraying more frequently because 'it's rainy season'.
