"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with a beautiful garden and plenty of room within the property. There were seven of us and didn't feel on top of each other. There are a few niggles, although I put them into the category of observations and not complaints. The bed in the 'very' large bedroom was very creaky, and is perhaps time for a new mattress. "Cottage was clean and well presented with lots of extra touches. Netflix was a bonus! Unfortunately the management company let down the whole experience. Security deposit required prior to releasing check in information, and we emailed them when we found a mouse in the property but they failed to respond. Also the cleaner was waiting for us to leave which wasn’t great! Parking is limited but luckily we found a space on arrival. Dog friendly but be aware no enclosed yard and dogs are not...

"We loved our stay in Wirksworth. Such a lovely area for walking and cycling which we were after. The cottage was lovely. Very comfy beds, great sofa and fab log burner. Kitchen has everything you need. The shower is definitely small as the listing says. However i dont thjnk i realised how small - we managed (just) but this is the only negative in an other wise lovely stay. The village is also great, again with everything you need in terms of variety of places to eat and drink."

"Our family of 9 (6 seniors, myself, + 2 children) stayed at this lovely property. Plenty of rooms/beds to accommodate a large group. 1 bedroom is separate, a studio apartment adjacent. The house had everything you could need. Well stocked with bedding, kitchen items, appliances. Heating was on so we never felt cold. Garden to enjoy meals/sunsets. Quiet neighborhood. The hosts were easy to reach and friendly and also kind enough to bring us a welcome cake! Did not explore too much on foot. It's...
