The neighborhood was quiet and the backyard area around the apartment was private. I loved that I only had to walk 2 blocks to get down to the beach and the boardwalk. The apartment was incredibly cute and very clean. All the appliances that I needed were there. The host was very responsive to my texts and kind. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone!

Great Beach Spot
The property's location is great, especially if you like the beach and walking on a beautiful boardwalk. The neighborhood has great bars and nightlife. The space was well-appointed. However, it is small. Perfect for long weekends. If I was in my 20s I could stay there all summer.

The perfect beach retreat
This well appointed cozy studio is located in a quiet extremely walkable residential neighborhood. It is only blocks away from the Long Beach boardwalk, restaurants, shops, a grocery, a friendly neighborhood irish bar, Nolan’s, and even a Long Island Railroad Station for trips to and from Manhattan. My stay could not have been more rejuvenating.

3 day getaway & a wedding
Instead of staying at a hotel for a wedding in Garden City, we stayed at Deirdre's place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I'm happy we got to walk the entire 2.3 mile boardwalk on Friday (4.6 miles in total), ride the entire boardwalk on Saturday morning with bikes provided before the wedding then spend a few hours at the beach on Sunday. We got to check in early and Deidre offered to let us stay a little longer on Monday the day we left. Communication was great and Deidre thought of everything in this lovely VRBO.

Amazing Birthday Weekend Experience !
The property was great and just up the road from the beach! Deidre was reachable and friendly and very flexible. Your stay is exactly what you make of it, and there is a lot to do in the area. I would absolutely stay here again. Really made my birthday so special. There is also a grill outside and all the supplies you would need in the apartment.

Deidre was a wonderful host. Very communicative. She answered every question promptly. She stocked the apartment with extra items like coffee and oatmeal in the kitchen, and toothpaste in the bathroom. These are items that you don’t find in other VRBOs. I appreciated being able to park my rental car on the driveway. Location was great, close to shops and restaurants and the beach. And she gave the best restaurant suggestions! I enjoyed my stay.

Wonderful respite by the sea!
Took advantage of the short break in winter temps to stay by the shore at this delightful cottage. Pictures are an accurate portrayal of this cozy space. Bed was quirky, but comfortable, and though there wasn’t a traditional stove/oven, the presence of a microwave, double hot plates, and toaster oven were more than enough for our needs. The location is fabulous; within walking distance to the beach, stores and restaurants, and is a very quiet, pleasant neighborhood. Deidre is an excellent host. She was extremely responsive, gave us great information, and was very friendly and welcoming. Giving us access to bikes to ride-which we did- was an added bonus. Will definitely be adding this to our list of places to revisit!

Amazing Stay! Will Definitely be Back
Coming in from Manhattan, my wife and I were looking for a quick and convenient little getaway for Labor Day weekend, and thanks to Deirdre, we got much more than we bargained for! Deirde is an incredible host. Her instructions and recommendations are spot-on--whether you're looking for a bike ride on the boardwalk, a casual or elegant dinner, or just a drink at a local dive, Deirdre's knowledge of the area will provide any experience you're looking for. The home itself is clean, cozy, and comes with anything you need for a beach getaway, including bicycles, beach chairs, and beach passes. Additionally, we took advantage of Deirdre's intimate knowledge of the area/recommendations and were able to check out a fun concert (Mike Delguidice) just 10 minutes from her place. We cannot thank Deirdre enough for turning our quick trip into the perfect getaway, and we look forward to a future stay!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely quaint room, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room itself was cozy and well-equipped with a small kitchenette. It was a nice touch that she stocked it with bottled water and K-Cups, making it easy to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. The attention to detail really made a difference and showed how much the host cares about her guests. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely stay here again! Daedre was extremely helpful in pointing out all of the available pointers of the property. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. The accommodations were as advertised and comfortable. A Queen sized bed would have been a plus.
