"After 16 hours of travel Arrived Jamaica night time to be told by accommodation caretaker "no electricity so best not to come". Drove around in taxi trying to find alternative accommodation for the night. Next morning went to view accommodation, NOTHING LIKE DESCRIPTION. Horrible. We expected 1 bedroom entire apartment, instead poky room and share amenities, a guest already there. Looks like building site in front, ugly shack for view. Church almost adjoining which apparently gets really loud....

"I spent 3 weeks at the Villa with my mom and brother and we had a great time. Portland is a beautiful parish so being in the hillside with the panoramic views overlooking Portlands beauty was just breath taking. Donna is a very gracious host, very accommodating and responsive. Communicating with Donna before we even left for JA and during our time there was easy and pleasant. "From arrival to departure the staff were amazing. We were also lucky enough to meet Steve one of the owners of the resort and he was great, took time to welcome all the guests at dinner individually. The food and drinks were great. All the staff were very friendly and attentive without being too much. The accommodation and view's were amazing. It was my first visit to Geejam but it certainly will not be my last, I love it!!!"

"I booked two identical rooms and my friends room was noticeably smaller and not the same design on the wall so that was a bit meh but the stay was still great. Beautiful property, very nice pool. Complimentary breakfast that came with my stay was excellent. The room key was missing and the front desk person was nonchalant but again I only stayed one night so I didnt press the issue. When in Portland I would definitely stay there again."

"This place has certainly gone down hill like a horror movie from the 70s scene dated furniture blood on curtain splatters from misquote swatting along with greece stains the bathroom had rusty facutes with missing cover plates oxidation on the door handles bathroom mixed matched tiles. Great location but this place needs a serious overall bottom line.For a big property like this it should have more amenities such as a pool and decent restaurant "

Cute little spot, great value, friendly service

"Cute little spot in the jungle near all the best bits of Port Antonio. Steep 5 minute drive up the hill, you might spot some fireflies on the way if you're lucky. Great service with a particular shout out to Trudy at breakfast whose smile and fun nature made every morning a treat. In the midst of an upgrade and some design choices might not be to my taste but it's incredibly good value for money and that panoramic view from the bar is unforgettable! "
