This property was immaculately clean and in wonderful condition. Although no check-in instructions were sent to me, when I emailed the property manager the night before, he got back to me immediately about access to the property. Everything was clean well-
appointed, but the problem was that the house was very cold. The welcome book said that the kitchen heater was supposed to heat the entire downstairs. After 12 hours of the kitchen heater being on, the lower floor was not warmer than 54° and it was in the 40s outside. They said that space heaters were supposed to heat the upstairs. Not only were space heaters not provided, but I don’t think it is safe to keep space heaters on all night. When I complained about the downstairs being very cold, the property manager was very responsive and gave me instructions to turn on another wall heater, which, by the way, were not provided in the welcome manual. Unfortunately, the wall heater did not work. There was an additional large space heater for the downstairs, but even with that on the lower floor would not rise above 54°. We were in blankets to stay warm, and I could not takea shower because the house just felt too cold. If they could figure out the heating situation, this would be a wonderful place to stay. After going back-and-forth with the property manager about the inadequate heating, I did not hear anything back. I asked him the following day whether he actually wanted me to review the property and he said “ok”.
